Great value for money. Friendly tour guide and prompt hotel pickup. Note the bus is not a regular coach but a minibus. Also, don't feel obligated to buy anything at the tea house or silk factory etc. Happy travelling!

A very good tour. Tour leader had very proficient in English. I enjoyed the tour.

The same comments as for Shanghai Classic - maybe make the two tours more different from each other. Some people would be interested to make the two tours, as we did.

I had an excellent guide. Some souvenirs were a bit expensive but overall splendid!

Too much time spent at places trying to sell us stuff, pearls and silk, rather than the sites of the city. Otherwise very good.

Nice okay tour, we ended up with pretty much a private tour for the morning portion. The museum was fine, but we were on our own for that portion and could have gone ourselves. It was quite cold so we only did a quick visit to the Bund. We had seen quite a few temples by this point so the Jade Buddha Temple wasn't too exciting. We did enjoy a quick medicinal tea tasting. Overall if you're in Shanghai and looking to see a few sites, not a bad way to go. We had gone on a lot of tours, though, on our trip and this one didn't stand out. Again, it was cold though! Would probably be really nice to walk around the Bund in warmer weather...although you really don't need a tour guide for that.

Too long...some of the people left their hotels at 7:30am and didn't return until after 8pm. The highlights of Shanghai could be done in a couple of hours. Should've skipped the gardens this time of year--nothing there--and left more time at museum. Also, need to put in your description that all tours in China include a mandatory shopping stop at a factory. This one had 2 of them. Could've skipped the silk and just done the pearls. Jade Buddha Temple was the best. The stop at the Bund was at a location that had nothing there. Best to do the temple, the museum, Peoples Park and the Bund. Those are the highlights and can be done in 4-5 hours including one shopping stop.

I'm normally an independent tourist but thought this would be a good way to see alot of the city in a day after a week or seeing nothing but my office walls. To some extent this was true but there was far too much time spent on high pressure sales Pearl Shop and Silk Factory and not enough time in the areas of greater interest such as the Buddha Temple, French Concession and Shanghai Museum. The lunch also left a lot to be desired, but I'm told that is typical for organised tours. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable but I had to wonder whether he was on commission.

The van was very disappointing. The windows were hard to see out of and too small to see the buildings down town. The van interior left a lot to be desired. The tour itself was ok but half the stops were to sales opportunities.

We got to see a lot of really great stuff. The time in the parks was short. It would have been nice to get more time to shop at the garden. We were given way too much time to shop at the pearl shop and silk factory. This part of the tour could be cut down. Everything else was good.

A good day tour to see Shanghai's tourist places. Only I'm very disappointed that we were given to a first-time tour guide; he didn't even have a sense of humor! Not happy. I've been to other Viator tours in other countries, and those were great experiences having amazing guides.

There really is not very much to see. The guide, although very informative, was late to show up at the hotel. Too much time at the museum, which did not offer very much of any artifacts. The first half of the trip was not at all informative, but the second half was much better

Not enough time to see sights in greater depth, but tour provided a good overview. It would have been better if guide could have been able to give more history on places of interests.
