Trip of a lifetime. Great service from driver and previous night's guide. Jennifer was extremely concerned about our arrival at airport and successful navigation of airport. She wrote detailed directions for us and gave us her phone number in case of emergency. Very caring.
Sara our guide was fabulous. This was a long trip but the best one we did. The warriors are just awe inspiring. An amazing piece of history. Good driver, good lunch and highly recommend this tour even though it's quite expensive. Well worth it.
I went to Shanghai for a conference and had one day free day to check out some other cities. Xi'an was my first choice because of those Terracotta warriors. The day turned out to be perfect! My guide was very fun and informative. Food was great! Highly recommended if you are on a tight schedule.
Very well organised and a lovely tour guide called Wendy,to show us around. we had time to spare so went walking around all the little stalls that are nearby. the lunch was nice too.
We have just returned for a 10 day holiday in Shanghai and Beijing. The tour was fantastic. Their was only two other people on the tour, very personal and very knowlegeable guide. The only down side was the Length of Time, We were picked up at 0600 and did not return to the hotel until 0030 at night (No Delays) a very long day the tours could be shortened even allowing us to get the 1900 flight instead of the 2130. Overall worth seeing and worth the money. Thanks Viator
This was an excellent tour for us because we only had one day. It was a long day but well worth it. If we could have been booked on an earlier return flight it would have been perfect!!!
I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed. Our trip was mainly a source of transportation; airline and van pick-ups. We expected our guide to narrate and share details about Xi'an, terracotta soldiers and the tour of the wall. We mainly rode in silence unless I asked questions. It was 105 degrees that day and she held her own umbrella and brought no water in the van. I thought we would melt. My husband and I have traveled the world, this was the most unprepared, uninformative and unaccommodating tour we have ever taken. I am only glad we got home safe.
