Our guide Elena was amazing-warm, very knowledgable. We learned a lot about the history of the region and enjoyed beautiful sights.
Elena was an excellent and friendly guide. The towns and countryside were beautiful and lunch good cheese was excellent.
Milo was an excellent, informative and entertaining guide, and the trip was a very good mix of drive through beautiful countryside, delightful hill towns and superb leisurely lunch at the organic farm, along with good wine. The wine tasting in Montepulciano was unexpected and very enjoyable.
Did this tour last year and enjoyed it so much came back for more
An absolute must to see the best of the Tuscan hill towns and enjoy an excellent lunch with all produce coming from their own farm
Elena was both helpful and knowledgable
This was an excellent trip and Elena our Tour Guide was excellent. She was very fluent in English and went out of her way to make this an amazing, special tour!!! She was very well versed in all sorts of topics and she was able to answer our many and varied questions. I think the highlight of the day was the lunch in a fabulous restaurant where we ate Italian food and she showed us how to eat it the Italian way. Well done Elena!!!
If you are in Siena, you have to take this tour! The visit to the dairy farm was wonderful. Silvia, our tour guide, made the experience personal and unique.
We found our trip extremely worthwhile. Milo was knowledgeable, pleasant, and we learnt a lot regarding Montepulciano, Pienza and Italy in general. He knew his subject well and had a fun way of imparting this. Would recommend this trip to everyone.

This was so much fun! I absolutely loved Pienza. Montepulciano is pretty nice but Pienza was the real highlight for me. The farm restaurant that we had lunch at was fantastic. We had some really delicious food - and lots of it too! Our guide was Daniel and he was very friendly and knowledgeable.
It was wonderful. Susanna the guide was fun friendly and informative. It was hard to leave Siena.I will never forget it! Jobella
This tour is totally worth it, while you travel along the contry side of Tuscany...under a sunny weather...and the highlight of this tour is a relaxing tour in one of the organic farm ...to stay in Pienza is only 30 minute..although Pienza is such a small town...I heard a lot of people wished they could spend more time there
what a great day out. Our Guide was very friendly, well informed and couldn't do enough for us. We ensured we were looked after, and knew exactly what we were doing and when. There was a situation on this trip (a guest was not picked up and arrived late, he and his family were very angry), however, the guide was great, she apologised, 'took' the flax and remained friendly, it was through her manner that the chap 'thawed' and was able to enjoy his day out.....he later apologised. The day out was fantastic exactly what we thought the Tuscany would be, we loved visiting the first small village it was just great.....
This tour was excellent and we highly recommend it. We wanted to experience the Tuscan countryside and we were able to see some delightful small villages with amazing views. The lunch at the hilltop farm under the grape vines was perfect. Also, our guide, Milo, was friendly, informative and amusing. We were fortunate indeed to have had such a fantastic tour.
Visiting the heart of Tuscany was like a dream come true. Here the reality was even better than the dream. This tour was the highpoint of our trip to Siena -- even more enjoyable than the great food. Speaking of food, lunch at the Il Casale organic farm was outstanding. We are from northern California, so wine country treats are not foreign to us but this was over the top. Montepulciano and Pienza were just magical. We had just the right amount of time at each stop. Our guide, Corallo, was very knowledgable and pleasant to talk to. Everything went smoothly according to plan. We could not have been more pleased.
Loved loved loved! Such an intimate experience of the rustic hill towns of Sienna/Tuscany with a fabulous guide who knows the area and people well. With Elena, we felt like we were experiencing Tuscany rather than just touring it. The lunch at the farm was amazing. I would do it all again!
Probably the best tour on our whole trip
Milo our guide was both knowledgable and interesting
The hill towns are stunning both in their history and the views they provide
The lunch in the organic farm was a highlight on a wonderful day
This tour is a MUST
What a fantastic day, the countryside, the towns, and the food were excelleny. Milo our guide was excellent, made the day very interest as he was knowledgable. My favourite part was lunch at the organic farm - location, atmosphere, food, our hosts, all together very memborable!
Easily one of the most remarkable tours we have ever had. Milo, the owner of Tuscan Escapes was our personal guide. His knowledge of and passion for food, wine and the Italian culture left us feeling as though we had gained an insight into la belle vita, that we could never have gained otherwise. A perfect ending to 7 days in the Tuscan region. It was a joy to spend the day with Milo. The towns of Montepulciano and Pienza, with their local cheese and wine specialties are a must see. And how better than with an expert "foodie!" The visit to the local bio-farm was an unforgettable experience - we can still taste the freshness and purity of the deliciously prepared dishes. Our recommendation: DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!!
Highly recommended. Excellent guide in Azzura who was very friendly, informative and considerate. Lunch at organic farm, surrounded by Tuscan countryside was a real high point of the trip.
Our trip was AMAZING! Our guide Azzura was extremely knowledgeable and made our trip a memorable experience. We would never have found these places on our own and enjoyed sipping coffee in a hilltop village, lunch overlooking Tuscany on the organic farm, wine tasting and lovely Pienza.
Fantastic tour that I highly recommend!! Fantastic meal with all ingredients made right at the family's Tuscan farm was some of the best food I have eaten in Italy. Excellent knowledgeable tour guide that helped me to fall in love with Tuscany! Only four people on the tour, so it seemed very private.
Was with a small group which was an advantage as we could ask many questions. Our guide was great. She was very informative about the region and in particular about the foods and wines of the area which was my main focus. The meal at the farm gave us a taste of the local Italian dishes. Was also able to buy some saffron and a couple of cookery books.
