This was awesome! Sabrina - the wife of the guy who owns the ranch picked me up. she was the sweetest lady. I got to walk around before the tour started. Our guide was pretty funny and the countryside is beautiful! They even gave us wine from the vineyards we went through once we were back. amazing!
This tour was quite simply, AWESOME! Such a great guide, friendly atmosphere and well trained horses. Thank you so much, for such an amazing afternoon.
Outstanding experience. We were picked up at the siena train station and driven to the family stables for the ride. Horses were very sweet and gentle, the tour guide was very pleasant and nice. The scenery was spectacular with rolling hills and a view of the chianti harvest region. This trip was well worth the price and we would highly recommend it. This is not a fly by night operation, but a real family run business..
Beautiful scenery and a relaxing way to enjoy the countryside. Staff were helpful and friendly. No previous riding experience required
The tour itself was fantastic! My guide was excellent, and everyone at the stables was very helpful and friendly.
The only negative of the whole experience was that my ride was 30 minutes late picking me up.
This was a great excursion. Staff at the riding facility were great. They went out of their way to make sure I had an enjoyable experience. Loved the horse, Asterick, he was amazing. The only issue I had was that I drove into Siena to be picked up, only to find out that the riding facility was right near my villa. I then got back into my car and followed them to the barn. The company booking needs to communicate better with the customer and the riding facility. I could have been picked up right at my door.
The other reviewers appear to have had a much better time (wine was offered?!). It was pleasant, but not more and at E 70, not worth it. We walked the horses slowly for 90 minutes. The guide mostly didn't bother to put his feet in the stirrups or speak. We reached no vistas, though the hils surrounding us were beautiful. For the return car ride to where I was picked up, the driver, Sabrina, became busy. She asked her father-in-law, who apparently didn't speak English, to handle the task. He pulled up in her car, but full of groceries and with his wife. We waited while they unloaded. It didn't seem so much like a tour as "I know a guy." and they squeezed us in. I was able to book this tour on two-day's notice, but at almost twice the price of the one I wanted, Voltrana, which offers to include a (bit longer) ride along a ridge and was only E38. Voltrana was booked; not surprising. I'd give this one star, but the (only) other rider was an English woman was really a dearie as was Contessa, the Stables English Bulldog.
