my wife and daughters favourite activity in Singapore.they came back with plenty of local knowledge and tips.
Great class! I've had cooking classes before, but this one was unique. The "chef" is actually a mom, or auntie, that teaches the cooking techniques. We learned little tips, and stories of the food, as seen through the eyes of the teachers. It was like learning how to cook home meals from my mom, or favorite auntie, and the memories they had when they learned how to make the dishes. Unlike other cooking classes, all of these dishes are definitely manageable to make at home. So great! The only down point, was after the class. The tour is only a pick up, not a drop off, so finding a taxi was not easy. We had to walk many, many blocks to find a place where the taxis queue and pick up passengers.
Nice experience. Well organized, the instructors were engaging and the food we prepared was delicious. Our thanks to Lena, Helen, Aunty and all that made it possible. We highly recommend it to any foodie. Colin and Bobbie
My 17 year old son and I took part in the Singapore Cooking Class and Lunch with "Food Playground Hands on Fun" during our trip to Singapore last week. I strongly recommend this cooking class for anyone thinking of doing one whilst in Singapore. During the 3 hours we learnt about Singapore's diverse food culture and in a hands on environment learnt how to cook spring rolls, chicken curry and a traditional Singaporean pancake then sat down to our tasty meal. Teachers were great and made you feel at home with a relaxed and fun feel in the kitchen. The experience was great value for money and we've managed to come home and replicate the entire meal by ourselves with ease.

My daughter and I went and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great introduction to the multitude of Asian foods that abound in Singapore. The cooking class was at a great level and recipes easy enough to make at home. Both my daughter and I looked at food in a different way, more prepared to try different tastes.Thoroughly recommend it if you are into food.
I am a big fan of Anthony Bourndain. In his No Reservations, he said Singapore was one of his fav destinations to dine for. With this yummy cooking class, I promise you won't be disappointed.
