The boat was very crowded and the food was disappointing - a very ordinary buffet. Forget it if you are vegetarian! We enjoyed the views as we sailed around. The toilet facilities were bad.

Boat was interesting and on-shore attention excellent. However food on board was poor for a dinner cruise. Also, venue had changed from Viator's original details. Instead of cruising Singapore Harbour it went out around Sentosa Island and the busy shipping lane. Also, pick up point give to us had been closed for some months for refurbishment and we had to get a 20 minute taxi ride to harbour front Mount Faber. Needless to say we were luck to get on board on time.
Note from Viator:
Please note this cruise departs from Harbour Front, 1st level (in front of Delifrance). This information will be printed on your voucher.

Food was mediocre.

The Imperial Cheng Ho Singapore Harbour Dinner Cruise is a waste of money and time. The PA system didn't work, so we had to listen to a very loud crackling narration, awful! The service is so bad that your eyeballs will start bleeding before a waitress comes to take your drink order. The interior was also absolutely freezing because the AC was turned on full blast. We had to ask the wait staff to turn the AC to a normal temperature and got a scowling look. They had some excruciating traditional Chinese music for entertainment after dinner. It was like nails screeching on a chalk board. My husband and I had to go outside in the rain on deck just to get away from it.
Note from Viator:
We're sorry your experience was so miserable. It sounds like this dinner cruise was definitely not your cup of tea. We do appreciate your honesty (not to mention your eyeball metaphor). While other travelers have enjoyed this dinner cruise, we'll make sure our Singapore team continues to monitor the quality, value and overall experience of the Imperial Cheng Ho dinner cruise.
