This was an extremely long tour for only a short look at Malacca; however, the drive through Malaysia was interesting.

This is a good value trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal at Malacca was excellent. Take a book to read on the bus, as it takes at least 3 hours each way.

The tour guides spoke excellent English, and although the bus trip was long they were informative throughout the journey. The scenery during the journey is pleasant. Malacca is quaint and not overly touristy. The lunch buffet was extensive, and the surroundings are pleasant.

For this tour you have to put a walking shoes on, too much walking and sitting on the bus most of the time but it's worth doing it.

The bus trip was too long: seven hours to return, plus the wait at customs. At least our guide was very good and lunch was excellent.

It was nice to visit a country I had never been in. We had a very well educated guide with interesting stories and lots of information. The food was good.

It is worth the drive up to Malacca. The tour shows that the area has a very interesting history. We were fortunate to have such a good guide.

I was worried that no one would pick me up, but the driver was right on time to pick me up. That's a wonderful trip!

Great day out, but tiring as a long drive. The food was fantastic, guide very knowledgeable. Certainly worth the money!

This is a good trip with a very knowledgeable guide. The hotel buffet is very good. All the stair climbing is hard on senior citizens and should be taken into account on this tour. I saw no place where this is mentioned in the description of this tour.

The whole trip was really fun and interesting. The tour guide was fantastic and gave us a very thorough insight into the life and culture of Malaysia. I really enjoyed this trip.

I enjoyed this trip, and the meal and hotel were all lovely. The one drawback was the lack of time for shopping in Malacca, although we passed some shops on our walking tour. The tour guide was excellent.

Words fail to convey our pleasure with the excellent tour guide we had. She was absolutely first-rate, very personable, knowledgeable, professional, and a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge regarding everything Malaysian - history, culture, customs, resources, and so forth.
As a side note, monsoonal flooding considerably lengthened the travel time, however, our guide stayed in contact en route with destination facilities to ensure tour objectives would be met. The luncheon was lavish and catered to both Western and Asian tastes. The walking tour was very interesting, however, portions were quite vertically strenuous, and this should be made known in advance should persons with physical limitations be interested in making this particular trip. That said, we would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in obtaining a glance of Malaysian culture.

Not amazingly fun, but a good experience for the traditional traveler.
