Informative tour around the riverside to explain the history behind Raffles hotel and its founder. Hghlight was obviously high tea in the hotel, expecting a tray of snacks, scones etc, what they didnt tell us prior to us eating the cakes on the table...was that we could have free access to the fantastic savoury buffet as well! A note if you intend to go to Raffles tour, do not eat previously! Certainly enjoyed ourselves.
We were lucky enough to have a tour party of just 7, which enhanced this very personalised 'hands on' experience of all things Raffles. The tea, as you would expect, was superb and overall, the tour was very informative and excellent value for money.
Better than imagined, well worth it. Very well put together.
Excellent tour. Pick up very efficient. Afternoon tea very enjoyable, surprised at the hot buffet included. Boat trip good.
Unfortunately I can't eat cream as I would have gorged on the fantastic cream cakes at Raffles, but it was an experience to remember. Guide so helpful and informed on all subjects of the tour, he is to be highly recommended on his knowledge.
Excellent tour, our guide Florence was lovely and very informative. The afternoon tea at Raffles alone was well worth every cent plus the Singapore Sling and the boat cruise and the pewter factory tour. Would absolutely recommend this tour.
Fabulous experience, don't miss it.
A must. We were very surprised at the value of this trip. The Raffles tea was exceptional. The Raffles loos now used by the tourists are not special as they once were! Our guide was into it and enjoyed the time with us; this showed and added to the tour.
Very good tour, informative, friendly, easy. Afternoon tea at Raffles was on par with Claridges. Definitely recommend this tour.
It does what it said on the tin - good basic tour followed by a fine tea in the Tiffin Room. If you only have limited time in Singapore, this is a good way to use it.
