Our tour guide for the day mr foo was very knowledgeable and informative. i feel that the first part of the tour (Haw Par Villa) was not worth stopping for but the rest we quite enjoyed the fav being the changi museum.

Haw Par Villa was disappointing, however the rest of the tour with the WWII memorial and Changi Village is very nice.

This is a very interesting tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Singapore history - much appreciated as we were well informed throughout the day. The Haw Par Villa is curious and the Kranji area is very informative. Lunch was at a great spot. Changi Chapel is worth a visit.

This trip was excellent and I would recommend it if you want to see more of Singapore than the city. Haw Par is dated but interesting, worth the stop. The war cementary visit was too short but that was our fault for not asking for longer when given the choice. We needed more than the 30 mins we asked to have. The guide did suggest 45 mins which would have given us more time to reflect at a very somber place. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the day enjoyable. Lunch was OK but with 8 people at the table there was only a spoonful of each main dish, they could have had more on each plate or may be do it as a buffet. As most on the trip were from Australia or UK we could have had more time at Changi (but they have to accomodate all tourists not just Aussies/Brits). We were given 45 mins, while the museum is small, it is very well done and had loads of written displays. Overall we had a very enjoyable day and I would recommend trip.

Should really give this five stars if only for the charming and entertaining tour guide. Haw Par Villa is astonishing in its concept and presentation which was diminished by the general feeling of neglect in keeping the site clean. The toilets (particularly the ladies) were unwholesome in the extreme. Entry was free - and perhaps herein lies the problem. Maybe an entrance fee could be charged to assist in enhancing the maintenance program.

Very interesting day and we learned a lot about modern Singapore and also about the role it played in the 2nd World War. It was good to get out of the city for the day. Lunch was average but in an interesting old building.

The tour guide was very good but Haw Par Village is well past its best although is interesting from a heritage point of view. The rest of the tour is a great introduction to the island particularly of interest to military history buffs or people served on the island. Our guide was very informative and well suited to this tour.
