What You Can Expect
Jurong Bird Park is located on 20 hectares of lush greenery in Singapore's model industrial estate and is home to over 8,000 birds from more than 600 species.
There is something for everyone at Jurong Bird Park. The kids will love the Birds & Buddies Show with colorful costumed characters showing at 11:00am and 3:00pm. There are many shows running throughout the day, be sure to check the schedule upon arrival at the park.
Inspired by the St. Lucia wetlands, the African wetlands exhibit will transport you into a world of African birds with three native style pavilions surrounded by tall palms and green ferns. The exhibit will give you a chance to enjoy a balanced eco-system display, which aims to inspire an understanding of how birds and men co-exist.
A great day out for the whole family!
I rate this tour 5 stars because our guide was utterly fantastic. She took each of us under her wing and assured that we learned details about Singapore that were important and unique to the each of us. She went out of her way and I was sad to learn I could not tip her. The bird park itself has beautiful foliage, interesting waterfalls and paths. Most birds, however, were in relatively small cages rather than in larger areas where they could have a bit of freedom. I ultimately decided to enjoy the weather, plants, and other visitors and had a great time.
This tour was amazing!
