River safari was great - maybe the boat could be a little slower, but we ended up going on it 3 times anyway!!!
Night zoo very different, some animals definitely played for the visitors, some couldn't be found. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable - kept us all laughing on the bus, and answered lot of weird and wonderful questions.
Night safari was excellent, had plenty of time to see everything. River Safari was ok but not much to see and river cruise very basic.
Excellent photo opportunity for Red Panda able to get up close
Great fun lots to see and places to get out of the heat. Nice to see animals I have never seen before .
Great tour. Picked us up on time from our hotel. Lovely drive through singapore to the zoo. Highlight of the river safari .- though river not in use yet - definitely the giant pandas. Absolutely fabulous and we got to see them moving around and eating a real thrill. Enjoyed the walk on the boardwalk which took in the whole park. Loved the spider monkeys too. Hundreds of them converging on us and showing off for the crowd.
Night zoo was terrific too. Loved tour on our carriage saw many animals as we drove around in dark. Quite special. Then finished off the night with an animal show where the animals strutted their stuff.
Between tours time to look around and buy dinner from a few different places.
It was a long day but terrific and we settled for a comfortable bus trip back to our hotel.
Terrific excursion to fit in 2 great zoos
Excellent dinner before entering park with many delicious food choices ! What a wonderful experience the night zoo was ! Highly recommend !
Brilliant tour. Was very tiring doing both in one day but worth it. Absolutely loved the night safari great experience. Would have been nice if we'd known about the restaurants just inside the night safari complex that we could have eaten in without using our admission ticket. That said beers were well over priced in there compared to outside. Apart from that great value for money and would recommend the tour to anyone.
Transfer was prompt and tour advisor was there on time. Our guide was very knowledgable and gave us vital information that made our tour seamless. This gives you enough time to go throughout he river safari at a slow pace, have some dinner and see all that is on offer at the night safari. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
The guide on our bus was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable.
I did not really know what to expect from the River Safari and was not enthusiastic when I discovered that we would be having so long there (3+ hrs)... I was wrong! The experience was fantastic and we only just made it to the exit before closing.
The train ride of the Night Zoo Safari was excellent ... I was sorry in hindsight that we did not go around twice as the second time we would have been quicker to pick out the various animals.
On the contrary I was disappointed with tthe Creatures Of The Night show. The animals were well trained and the message re littering was very good (although it was dismaying to see many of the audience still left plastic bottles and paper around their seats on departure). The presenter talked too much and the music, which with less decibels would have been quite pleasant, was excruciatingly loud (I felt sorry for the poor animals!). The Thumbuakar performance was good. Overall it was great experience.
The night safari was nice but we misunderstood the cenception of the river safari at first, so it was a little bit of a disappointment for us but worth visiting all the same.
It is good being able to combine the two tours. The River Safari is not completely operational as part of the Amazon section is still under construction. The pandas are cute. The Night Safari is an experience - not as good as the daytime zoo though.
Good to be picked up and taken. Plenty of time to see both as one closes at 6pm and the zoo doesn't open till 7.30pm so time to have something to eat between. Thought more of a river ride on Safari - a little disapointed, not what expected. Worth a look at but don't think something would need to do again next trip to Singapore.
