It's great to see animals at night, however, our guide was not so informative.

Bus trip out to zoo was close to an hour as we hit peak hour traffic. Zoo was amazing, tram ride and commentary very informative. It was like stepping onto the set of Survivor. Buffet meal was a little disappointing. A lot of hot and spicy food not to everyone's liking. Walking tracks were worth doing for an up-close look at the animals. We happened to see the lions catch and kill a wild possum like creature, interesting. Quick trip back to hotel. A must see in Singapore.

Our tour guide was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Singapore, and was also very entertaining. We had dinner first, at our own pace, which was delicious. We were able to receive our tickets whenever we were ready - there was no rush. The tram ride was wonderful - the guide on the tram knew quite a bit of information about each of the animals which we passed. Getting so close to the animals was an amazing experience. We also had some time to walk the paths ourselves, which was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better tour! Don't miss this one!!!

The safari was something not to be missed. Only problem was some of the people seemed to be more interested in talking to each other, rather than listen to the commentary and also taking flash photographs despite being told not to, thus frightening the animals. Recommend the meal though. A taste of food from all over the globe and a chance for the more adventurous to try something new.

We loved the night safari. The guide was great in telling us what to do to maximize our visit. We spent the entire time watching animals. Nearly one hundred different species were visible in their habitats.
