We were picked up promptly by transport and taken to a restaurant and served a starter of soup and shrimp and two choices of main meal: salmon or steak. These were cooked in front of you on very hot stones, which is not a good idea unless you don't want fat ending up on you. The drinks were paid for separately, which were quite expensive; nearly the price of the tour for five! We were then dropped off at a night market for souvenir hunting and then onto Raffles for Singapore Slings and music. Everything was fine except for the rip the tourist off meal and drinks menu we received.

This Singapore tour was well organised; the company picks you up and drops you off. This was great. We had a really funny guide. The Singapore Sling was nice, but it wasn't worth the money. You cook your own dinner, which is nothing special - steak or salmon.

Dinner was a bit rushed, but good. The night market might be better done on one's own, so the length of time can be appropriate for the shopper's needs. Raffles Hotel was a nice stop, but a group would be better on their own.

Sadly, this tour was not as good as I'd expected. Forget the dinner option, it is not worth it. The drinks with dinner are extra, and their prices for a small glass of soft drink were a rip-off in my opinion. The visit to Raffles and the Singapore Sling was great. The night market visit was too short, but you can obviously go back there whenever you like.

Although good, I found this tour a bit disappointing but again the tour company was great.

City tour consisted of a quick dash to restaurant, where the meal was steak and not much of any thing else. Then a dash to the market, no guided tour, given 30 minutes to wander round by ourselves. Then dash to Raffles given 30 minutes here or make own way home.

We were picked up from the hotel on time, taken to a central meeting point which was very chaotic, lots of people standing around wearing stickers for lots of different tours, not knowing what to do. The setting for dinner was lovely but the meal itself could have been better. Although it was a novelty to cook our own meat/fish on the hot stone, no vegetables were served with the main course and the desert was mediocre. Staff were far from friendly one even swore as she turned away from the table and it was very rushed. We could have done with more time at dinner and less time at the market, because most people had already visited a market during their stay. Singapore Sling at Raffles was the highlight! Our guide was excellent and return transfer to our hotel was good.

It was a great experience, seeing the sights. Wish we had longer at each place, felt rushed.

Meal was very poor. Slab of meat only as main course. Very rushed. Enjoyed Raffles.

The dinner at boat quay consisted of either steak or salmon which you had to cook yourself on a hot stone, so not much choice. You only got 20 minutes at the night market which wasn't really enough time!

The self-cooking option for meal at the Boat Quay was interesting. The bus toured very little of the total Singapore area. They did not even drive through Orchard road! The bus made 3 stops, the ones at Raffles Hotel and the Boat Quay were worth it but the other one at the market place was a complete waste of time.

The tour guide was very pleasant.

Our guide had a lot of knowledge and was very informative. The dinner was a choice of salmon or steak and you cook it in front of you on a sizzling rock. I would have liked more time at the night market. Twenty minutes wasn't long enough to look around. The Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel was really nice. We had a good time there.

This wasn't much at all. I wish we had of done the night safari. We didn't see much at all, dinner was at a restaurant where we cooked our own meat, but that's all you got, a piece of meat and nothing else. The best part was the Singapore Sling at Raffles.

All of this should be done but can be done more effectively alone, with less fuss and better quality.
