Tyler was absolutely terrific.By far the best shore tour on our cruise!!!
It was a very nice tour and the our tour guide Mike is so nice and showed us all the wonderful views
This tour is GREAT. The van is a 20 seater, easy on, easy off. The driver, Tyler, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly and narrated the drive all along the way. The smaller vehicle allows for more convenient stops for pictures, etc. I would highly recommend this tour.
This was one of the highlights of visiting Alaska. Our driver, Brook, was fantastic. She stopped at places that she thought would interest us and even made unscheduled stops to show us things that most drivers or larger buses may omit. I enjoyed hearing about the local history of the area from our guide. I loved being in the smaller tour bus and being able to stop many times along the Rand McNally's top 5 scenic highways. It was a sunny day with lots of photo ops along the way. Would highly recommend this tour if you love nature and rural settings.
Very well organized. My tour guide JJ Jessica is fantastic! We enjoy our trip so much! Would definitely recommend!!
Mike is absolutely phenomenal. Such a great driver no car-sickness!, tour guide, photographer. Each view along the way was better than the last, and we saw tons of wild animals including a moose and bears! The dogsledding experience and simple lunch were great experiences as well. the dogs are so sweet, and the owners are quite knowledgeable about the sport. I learned a lot during this full day excursion and loved all the local spots we stopped in. Very much worth it! Smooth pick up and drop off at the cruise ship.
Mike was absolutely phenomenal - great driver no car-sickness, tour guide, photographer, jokester. Each sight along the way was better than the last. Tons of great local stops and picture taking opportunities. Absolutely worth spending a day to do! Dogsledding and traditional simple lunch in Caribou Crossing were super fun!
This was the highlight of our trip to Alaska. Our guide was hilarious and had great stories. The views were simply breathtaking with their beauty.
Great guide. Small group. Fsntat scenery. The dog sledding area was nice. Good BBQ food.
The dogs were mangy looking, but learned they cross breed for agility and strength.
Def worth it
Great tour. Definitely an excellent option for a visit to Skagway and the Yukon. Our guide Tyler was. EXCELLENT
This was the highlight of the cruise! Every stop was breathtaking! Our guide was awesome! It rained everyday on our cruise, but when we went up the mountain to the Yukon, there was sun shine! I got so many awesome pictures.
Guide told great stories and accommodated all passengers. The trip was fun and informative.
This excursion was very scenic and informative. Mike, the guide, gave us a lot of history of Skagway, the Yukon Territory, and all the places we visited. Have your camera ready to take some of the most breathtaking photos you'll ever see!
This was a great experience and one of the best excursions we have taken. Our guide, Tyler, was outstanding. He was so informative and knowledgeable. He has a wonderful personality for this job and made everyone feel welcome. He stopped often and took pictures of couples and groups together. The area was very interesting but Tyler made it better.
This is a great tour and our guide/driver was outstanding, since she had done the Iditarod this year. We made multiple stops along the way, which is not possible with the train trip. Also, we went further into the Yukon than the train. The dog camp and lunch were good.
Our tour guide, John, picked us up at the cruise terminal and gave a informative and cheerful naration along the way. There was plenty of time for photo stops along the way and a meal at the half way mark.
This was a less costly tour than was available from our cruise line and the small bus allowed everyone the chance to get out to take 'open air' shots. Our highlight was Emerald Lake.
Our tour was amazing! We were on a motor coach and our tour guide, T-bone aka Tyler, was the best! He really made this tour enjoyable. I was a little concerned about the length of this tour but T-bone made it interesting and we stopped at frequent intervals that kept us from getting bored. And he got us back into Skagway in plenty of time to visit the town and get back to the boat. T-bone managed to get us to every awe inspiring spot before the big buses dumped their load of tourists so we weren't competing for picture spots. And he also took pictures of each family at each spot so we have great family pictures, without having to miss a single family member. I can't thank T-bone enough for this amazing excursion.
The trip was superb, and was all the more enjoyable with the interesting tales provided by our guide Heidi
Hands down, our favorite excursion from our entire 10 day adventure! Holding the 11 day old sled doggie pups was a total treat! Heidi was our guide and she just might be the most interesting woman in the world! Her life in Alaska fascinated us-- she shared lots of her story about growing up and raising a family in AK-most recently was her experience completing the iditarod! Anyhow-- she made lots of stops along the way to Carcross, took lots of pictures, we got to fill up our water bottles from a cliff's waterfall with the best tasting water and see some scenery/sites that i couldn't have imagined. It was a total treat!
I highly recommended it because our tour guide Mike was informative, witty and engaging with the group. He gave us many opportunities to take photos. The lunch was okay, but the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The local ice cream store was a hit. The exhibits at the Museum of Yukon Natural History gave a good slice of the area, past and present. Saw the puppies at the dog sledding compound.
We returned on-time to board our ship.
From start to finish our tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Mike was a local man and knew everything there was to know about everywhere we went. He was brilliant. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in nature wide life and magnificent scenery.
