What You Can Expect
Ascend 3,292 feet (1003 meters) to White Pass summit, a route that thousands of stampeders journeyed in 1898 during the Gold Rush in search of fortune. Enter Tormented Valley, a subarctic alpine tundra with a beautiful lake.
Travel into northern boreal forests and stop at Tutshi and Windy Arm lakes, surrounded by towering peaks. Make a final stop at the Yukon border sign and take a souvenir photo of your shore excursion. Afterward, enjoy transport back to your cruise ship in Skagway.
Please note: All passengers must have a valid passport.
Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your timely return back to the ship in Skagway for this activity. If your ship is delayed and you are unable attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.
Beautiful country with a great guide
Enjoyed every staff member we met with this company. Our driver/guide, Brooke, was terrific. This was one of 3 Viator excursions we booked in Alaska. The pace, interaction, van, etc. were all just right.
As a traveler, you may be struggling between riding the train and going by van. I picked the van because we could stop often and take pictures and have a personal guide/driver. BTW - it was cheaper and longer than the train trip! It was exactly the right decision for my wife and me. We were often up higher than the train tracks and so had better views. At stops we could look close at plants and could walk on snow - not possible on the train. When we spotted a bear, the driver turned around to let us take pictures the bear was a safe distance away. This excursion was a highlight of our Alaska trip.
Was amazing, our tour guide was excellent, very informative and knowledgable, great excursion
Jaw Dropping Scenery and plenty of camera stops
excellent trip up to the Yukon.Fantastic sights and the driver/guide was excellent.
Our guide JJ knew what she was talking about! Very informative and pleasant and took the time to answer any questions we had about each place we stopped. I would take this trip again, not like the Viator whale watching in Juneau where it was a big loss in time and money!
Lots of stops to enjoy the many beautiful views in British Columbia. Well worth the money. We wanted to see what we could while we were there. Thanks to Heidi, our guide, who rocks! How many visitors are as lucky to get a tour from an Iditarod racer?
THE BEAUTY OF NATURE AT ITS FINEST!!! The best sceneries I've seen in my entire life! Jessica JJ was our tour guide and driver -- she's simply awesome! Always volunteered to take our pictures, which she said is part of her job description. : Sure enough, the photos she took of me were brilliant! Thanks to one other reviewer who said that this tour is better than the train ride becoz we get to enjoy each stop: admire the beauty of each scenery and capture the memory via photos. EXCELLENT TOUR WITH JJ!!!
My husband and I had a wonderful time. Serviceable professional staff.
