the guide was excellent, knowledgable, friendly and pleasant. I would certainly recommend to anyone that they should visit Bled. That place is stunning. Words dont do it justice. I would recommend using this service, it is amazing value and makes a trip simple and enjoyable.
Our trip to Bled was the highlight of our holiday to Ljubljana. The senery is breathtaking beautiful. The boat journeyover to the church in the middle of the lake was quiet and peaceful.The veiws from the castle are amazing. A visit to Lake Bled is a must if in Slovenia!
This was a fantastic trip, our host was very friendly, and the small group made the tour personal, and he was able to answer all of our questions about his native Slovenia, and had many interesting facts about Bled. Lake Bled itself has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, so being able to see the lake, the castle, the church and the boat to the island for a very reasonable price should be an irresistible trip for anyone with a passion for natural beauty.
The best of the two trips that we booked; breathtaking scenery, excellent guide and a place where time seems to have stood still. The boat ride to St Mary's church is a very gentle affair, all the better for it, and you get a good half hour at the church to explore. The views from the island are superb. A very enjoyable visit to Bled Castle follows, the visit finished off with local cream cakes, delicious!
It was a great day and Bled is a must see! Thomas our guide was great and knowledgeable would highly recommend this tour! The color of the lake's waters is beyond description!
Very interesting & the guide Tom was great. Only suggestion would be to have free time at the castle & you could have refreshment there if you wanted then the tour wouldn't be as long
The only thing I would change is to build in a coffee andor snack break at some point. It seemed that some people wanted to stop for lunch and others didn't, and it would be easier if it was just part of the package.
The lake is beautiful but a little smaller than expected.
I wish the tour guide should tell me more about the city, the country and the culture instead of his opinions about politics.
Lake Bled was very beautiful and if we had more time I would've liked to book some time at one of the local hotels to stay a while. Toured the island and the castle but now regret not getting some wine when we stopped at the wine cellar at the castle...
It is a really nice area and the short walk on the island is fun.
Trip seemed a bit rushed. Guide did not give us much background info unless asked. We were combined with a group from the coast, and they had been promised a short tour of the Ljubljana in the same time frame. Since we had been staying in town, we felt we were short changed and rushed in our time in Bled.
