WONDERFUL cruise along beautiful scenery! Loved being able to swim off the boat at one stop! The staff was very friendly and accomodating! Boat was clean and comfortable and the restaurant onboard was a pleasant surprise...delicious food!
unfortunately we weren't able to make the tour. I am sure it would have been wonderful. Viator has proven to be excellent always. Thanks
Trip to Sorrento was excellent, hotel was very good, day trip by boat Sorrento to Amalfi Coast via Capri and back was excellent.
However, there was a sad case of stolen wallet on the local train Napoli to Sorrento. I was totally devastated after waiting for such a long time for my Italy trip. I had my son and wife with me who helped out and we informed Bank in USA to stop the cards.
This was a lot of fun and good way to get around the Amalfi Coast.
This is a great way to see the coast without worrying about driving. the ship was comfortable and and the food was of a good standard..A very enjoyable day,
this was really enjoyable and much cheaper than some of the tours available on the marina in sorrento- we did well to book it before we left on the internet! the boat was a little less crowded than some of the others.
We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip. We got off in Positano having previously gone to Amalfi by bus. We really enjoyed wandering around Positano in preference to Amalfi. The shops were nicer although prices higher! Great value Italian ice cream parlour available right by boat. Also pharmacy nearby to get drinks at minimal cost. We didn't do any swimming at Capri but it was interesting to spend time in the bay. Enjoyed the commentary and music on way back. Toilets best visited whilst the boat was stationery. All in all good value for money better than the bus ride.
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend it - the perfect way to see the Amalfi Coast. We left on time, and returned on time.
Very nice day out - even though one of us was quite sick (not sea sick, but unwell before we got on the boat). It was a lovely relaxing day to see the Amalfi Coast. Thanks.
The trip overall was a good experience with the opportunity to go swimming in the sea off the Island of Capri. There was one downside to the trip and that was the waves that day. The ship became quite unstable for part of the trip and was rolling about quite alot, this caused alot of people to become sea sick, so at that point it wasn't pleasant. Unfortunately we didn't get to stop at Positano on our trip because the sea was too rough to allow us to dock at the port. I enjoyed my time in Amalfi, however I wish I had had more time there.
I HAD TROUBLE RECEIVING MY LUNCH THAT I PAID FOR.I WAS BROUGHT UP TO THE CAPTAIN,AND HE HAD TO CALL THE OFFICE AND THEN WAIT CONFORMATION. I WAS STAYING IN POSITANO AND HAD BEEN TO SORRENTO ON A TOUR THE DAY BEFORE,SO THE ONLY PLACE TO SEE WAS AMALFI WHICH I WAS NOT TO IMPRESSED WITH.
The scenery was outstanding, but you would get this on any tour really. Contrary to the itinerary, we only made one stop and when they let us off to swim it was only for five minutes :(
The views were beautiful. Boat trip very unsteady sea did not look rough. Several people were thrown off seats. Food not the best. Wished we had not added as you can buy food and drink on the boat.
Glad when trip finished (10am - 6 pm.)
Look for trip with boat that has stabilisers. even small boats near by caused lots of movement to the boat.
The following words used on your tour page "a spacious sun deck with lounge chairs to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey." This is not true because either the boat was overbooked or they were limited in lounge chairs because people were sitting in the middle of aisle in plastic party chairs. Also you state "Cruise along the Bay of Naples to the island of Faraglioni, just off the coast of Capri, where you’ll dock for 45 minutes to relax on the beach or enjoy optional activities like canoeing, water skiing, scuba diving or snorkeling." Well the boat dropped anchor in the middle of the ocean and thru the speakers we were told "everyone that wanted to go swimming to jump off but do not go behind the boat".That was considered our 45 mins of beach time. There was no leisure time, no canoeing, no water skiing no scuba diving. They skipped the Positano stop and cruised directly to Amalfi. I bought this Day Cruise to enjoy the sites but it turned out to be the boat ride from hell. When it arrived in Amalfi I took the bus back to my hotel. I forgot to mention to make matter worse 20 mins into the cruise people were getting sick and throwing up.
