It was a beautiful day but should include the boat ride around Capri although the extra fee is well worth it.
The tour was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Our guide, Vincent, did an excellent job of answering all our questions and explaining where we were to be and at what time so we could take fullest advantage of our free time. I would recommend this tour to everyone!
After initial confusion at very crowded meeting point, the tour guide, Vincenzo, was v. knowledgeable and relaxed, informing us of all that was available at the 2 stops, giving options to stay with him, or explore on our own. The must-do things are the chair lift in Ana Capri, the boat trip round the island (additional costs but worth it). Pretty sites and gardens everywhere, food and drink cheaper in Ana Capri. Views from top of chair lift 360 degrees and stunning, boat trip took in all main sites and celebrity houses but blue grotto is another boat trip cost - we didn't partake, but still saw some other lovely coral caves on the normal boat trip and didn't think we missed out. Do this trip - you won't be disappointed
Seeing both towns is a must and top of the mountain if a clear day. Took a cruise around the whole island, totally difference perspective we felt was the hightlight.
The trip to Capri was a day that we enjoyed, followed by a boat around the island, that gets you close up to view the land.
Vincent ,the guide was very good and he was very helpful to everyone.
He knew the area well and gave us many tips. He encouraged questions and managed a group of English and Dutch. An excellent guide!!
He recommended a boat trip around the Island that was interesting and relaxing.
A great day out.Vincent our guide was very informative and had a great sense of humour. We gained so much more out of the trip than going it alone. All the extra tips given to us by Vincent made the day so much more enjoyable. Please pass on our thanks.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is we were told to be at the meeting point at o8oo yet others were told much later and we were hanging about for an hour.Luckily Vincent was there early so we knew we had a longer wait than expected
Pepe the tour guide was very funny and very helpful. Well organised and made it very enjoyable for the family.
This was a wonderful trip for anyone who wants to see Capri in a day. I would recommend that in the afternoon free time you take the boat cruise around the island. While most people wanted to see the Blue Grotto only, this was a great alternative, especially since the Blue Grotto is not always open. Everything was smoothly run in terms of moving from place to place. The guide was knowledgeable. The only thing was that the guide was too wordya nd kept repeating things so that our free time was more limited than it needed to be.
Was a bit unsure of where to meet the tour guide - the location is a bit loose on the instructions, but he found me which was great. Few optional extras to pay on the day to get the full experience - 10 Euro for the chair lift to the top of the mountain in Anacapri which I'd thoroughly recommend and 15 Euro for a boat trip around the island, also recommended. It does make the day rather expensive and I recon you could do this day on your own steam cheaper as it used the main ferry to Capri, but as a solo traveler I enjoyed the people on the tour so worth it for me.
Capri is beautiful and while I long to be one of the beautiful young people in low, fast motorboats that populate the waters around the island, this tour felt more like a shopping trip than an educational tour. If you do go, adding the optional boat ride around the island is worth the cost.
