The food was fantastic, especially the fillet steak. It was cooked to perfection and was so tender it fell apart in my mouth. The only course that didn't have me wanting more was the entree, it wasn't quite to my taste or my partners. Apart from that the meal was excellent. The courses were well spaced and the staff were very polite and attentive. Myself and my partner will definitely be going back again some time.

The tram restaurant dinner tour was wonderful. We had an enjoyable meal while rolling past the magnificent buildings of central Christchurch. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A great night out.

Not as good as Melbourne. The meal did not all come out as we paid for cheese and did not get it, and the drinks were slow.

Due to minor disarray, passengers were leaving the tram before the event was over. Because of that confusion and lack of communication from the wait staff, I had left the tram prior to receiving my final course.
