Milford Track Guided Day Walk from Te Anau
Once you've made your way down to the Real Journeys Visitor Centre at Te Anau, cruise by catamaran to the head of beautiful Lake Te Anau and the start of the track. On your walk you will follow the Clinton River for a short way, cross a swing bridge and then on through ancient beech forest to the Clinton Hikers Hut. A delicious picnic lunch and hot drinks will be served beside a mountain stream or at the Hut.
Your naturalist guide will point out the interesting human and natural history of the track along the way and there is plenty of time for you to relax, take photos and view the bird life. Traveling with a small group, a maximum of 12 people per guide, allows for an intimate and unique experience.
Walking is easy and unhurried and there are no big hills.
Return to Te Anau by catamaran and coach.

Although it rained (as apparantly it does most days) the tour was great. Very professionally run tour. Great lunch and wonderful surroundings. Who could ask for anything more.
