I would not have missed this experience!! Even though I was a teen
ager when this war took place, it is very clear in my mind. Excellent
This tour is one of my most awaited experiences for my visit in South Korea and it didn't disappoint me. The tour was exceptionally great and informative. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and transferred too the official tour bus. The highlight of the tour was the visit at the 3rd infiltration tunnel. It was a loooooong "hike" to and fro the tunnel. It was an amazing experience. Our friendly tour guide Michelle was very helpful and accommodating too! My friends and I were very happy to have taken this tour from viator. :)
Fascinating! The tour guide Dora was knowledgeable, personable, and funny. The tour provides a great perspective of a part of the world that is frequently in the news. I especially liked the Dora Observatory, and the Third Infiltration Tunnel.
Great trip! Kim kept us on schedule and was very knowledgeable. The "antique" market is a street of shopping with hidden antiques, but we got dropped off at our hotel, so it was worth it.
Knowledgeable guide and great learning experience. This was a great tour!
The guide was vibrant, informative and cheerful. Highly recommend, only negative was maybe a extra 10-15 min where the buses change, seem a so much to see but only 10 min
Awesome!! Quite an experience. The tour guide is so nice. She helped us a lot and make sure we are taken care off until we go back to our hotel. However, if you are more than 175cm tall and have back problem, I suggest you not to go down to the the tunnel. Its quite a heavy climb.
Very good tour, I was not expecting to be so closer of South and Noth Korea border. The guide give us a lot of interesting information regarding the conflit and the relationship between 2 Koreas.
We were able to see into North Korea with the telescopes, visit the Freedon Bridge, and actually go into the third infiltration tunnel. Especially interesting for history buffs and those of my age group who remember the Korean war.
Thoroughly enjoyed myself in this tour. Tour guide Sunny was very professional and engaging at the same time. Keeping a relatively large group of 29 people entertained constantly. She could explain about virtually anything and everything with regards to the DMZ. If you love history and want to know about the conflict between North and South Korea, it is highly recommended that you join this tour.
It was very interesting to see the past and present of DMZ. The tour itself was very well organized and informative. Highly recommended!
Was really interesting tour. I had forgotten my passport but turns out I didn't need it but DONT forget yours! Just in case. The tunnel was very cool to see. We didn't get to see the soldiers because they were hosting a summit of sorts. But worth doing nonetheless.
