What a wonderful unique and invigorating way to see so much in the few hours during our ship's daytrip to Barcelona. Our English guide had a fun sense of humor, a love of the city and its history, and he kept our group of 20 together as we safely crossed some busy intersections. We had ample time to take photos. Most of us on this tour were age late 50s, so if you are good health and can ride a bike you are ready! Just before the end of the day we stopped at a beach bar with reserved lounge chairs for us right on the sand, and there we enjoyed Sangria. One gal took advantage of the weather, changed into her bathing suit, and went for a swim in the blue, blue Med sea. From the beach it was a short ride back to the bike shop and Las Ramblas. I highly recommend this to cruisers who want to break the boredom of bus tours.

What a great tour to take at the beginning of our trip! It gave us a great overview of the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We really enjoyed being out on a bike in this amazing city.

This was a very enjoyable bike ride through the tourist areas and back streets of Barcelona. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and conveyed this with enthusiasm and humour. A lovely flat bike ride through the city, we felt comfortable and safe throughout. The beach stop at the end was a welcome stop. This tour was the highlight of our holiday.

Everything about this tour, from the guides to the sights to the drinks on the beach, was fantastic! The meeting place was easy to find and was a great start to the tour. The guide toured us around Barri Gotic to begin with then proceeded to lead us to many different spots around Barcelona, ending at the beach where we hung out at a bar and ate and drank a little bit. The guide himself was phenomenal - he was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and extremely attentive to the group. The guides are English speaking so there are pretty much no language barriers.
Just a little caveat, while this tour allows you to see more than you would on a walking tour in a span of 4 hours, be advised that it is not a super leisurely bike tour. By no means is it a hard and tiring tour either, but you should know that at some points you have to go uphill a bit, you have to cross a couple of busy roads and that you might be biking on the streets right next to cars and trucks, but only for a VERY short amount of time and even then, there are lanes JUST for bikes. As long as you pay attention and follow the guides' instructions you're fine if you do that, the only real danger is running into a tourist who isn't paying attention.
