The tour was great. The local tour guide knew what she was talking about and was very friendly. The province is beautiful! The Mezquita was amazing! However, I do recommend confirming with the main tour guide if you have a specific meal choice like vegetarian. The lunch provided was a standard meal for all. The main tour guide disappeared during lunch. The waiters were extremely rude and would not provide any food outside of the standard without a shouting fight. The main travel agent did not take care of our lunch issues even though we had signed up for a vegetarian meal.

We should have just taken the train to Cordoba instead of the bus, because it was a long ride from Madrid, so we could have had more time to explore Cordoba. The actual guided tour was very good. Our local guide was very knowledgeable and personable.

Everything was great, except that the bus ride to Cordoba took nearly six hours. The tour guide was very good and the lunch was excellent. If I had it to do over, I would take the train both directions.
