Great tour!

Our experience was great. The guide was very patient especially that he had to repeat himself in Spanish and English. Explained in detail and answered all questions. The tour was great with enough time at each location. The staff were also pleasant and helpful.

It was a cold but clear and sunny January day as we took in the sights of El Escorial and Valley of the Fallen. We enjoyed both very much. In addition to the historical and architectural interest of these sites, the views from both hillside locations were splendid! Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and patient in providing his commentary in both Spanish and English, particularly so as we were the only English speakers of the group. We highly recommend this tour.

Great tour and great tour guide. El Escorial is a not to be missed experience. Guide walked slowly and translated well back and forth between Spanish and English.

This was excellent.

The tour we took in Toledo was extremely fast, but this tour was much slower and much more detailed. The tombs and the area's history were very interesting. Worth seeing!

The guide did an excellent job describing the tour. Both tour sites show significant historic aspects of Spain. It was very impressive to be in the 'Panteon de los Reyes' in the presence of the sarcophagi of the kings of Spain. There is only one word to describe the basilica and courtyard of El Escorial and that is impressive. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

Anyone visiting Madrid is making a big mistake if they don't visit these two incredible sites. The price was no more than if we had booked something locally. Viator did their part of the job well.

The trip itself was good, well organised, and interesting. It was also good value for money. The guide was informative, but his English was sometimes difficult to understand - his English accent was very poor. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and noted that the English version lacked detail. I was very sad to see, as we waited for the departure, that a woman in a wheelchair with a prebooked ticket was turned away. While I fully understand - and agree - that the Escorial trip is only suitable for able-bodied people, as a lot of stairs are involved, I feel it should be made clear on your website and other advertising, to avoid disappointment. You should also warn people that no photography is permitted inside the buildings.

Very nice place to see especially the Valley of the Fallen.

This was a good tour that made getting to see both sites convenient especially in half of a day. The tour office was somewhat hard to find, especially since it's not a Viator office, but a tour office where you must meet at Plaza de Espanya. I emailed the company for directions and never got a response, but we were able to find them.

Great! It is a must see. I wish we had more time to look around, eat and shop, but still definitely worth doing. Easy to find tour agency, no problem checking in, and they have English speaking employees.

Quite the monument. The guide made it come alive for us.

This is the most appropriate way to visit two very interesting places outside Madrid. Personally, I felt there was not enough time to enjoy the Escorial in all its glory.
