Ole, ole! Feel the fiery heat of the flamenco in historic Florida Park on a night out in Madrid to remember. Before the professionals take to the stage you can get up and dance with the orchestra before the show begins. Flamenco combines song and an impassioned style of dance which originated in Spain's Andalusian region. You'll experience this classic form of Spanish culture at Florida Park, in Madrid's loveliest gardens, Parque del Buen Retiro.
Florida Park has seen many changes since its construction at the beginning of the 19th century. It was originally commissioned by Fernando VII for Isabel II's recreational use. When the park was handed over to the people of Madrid, it was converted to a chapel. Towards the beginning of the 20th century it became a spa resort, and today the venue is a nightclub, specializing in Spanish ballet, dance and flamenco.
