Enjoy the views over the sparkling avenues as you drive toward the UNESCO-listed city center. Then, have your camera poised as you pass a string of floodlit squares and palaces while learning about their historical significance and architectural styles.
Travel to the first museum built in Russia; the Kunstkamera, set on the banks of the Neva River, and commissioned by Peter the Great in 1727.
Admire the gilded spire of the Peter and Paul Cathedral rising from the walls of its namesake fortress, and soak up the views of the Spit of Basil Island, the bluff that divides the Neva into two, set against the illuminated Stock Exchange building.
Pause by the Fontanka River, one of the Neva’s tributaries, and admire the imperious former residences of Russia’s nobles ranged along the embankment.
Spy the floodlit State Hermitage Museum, whose Winter Palace was once home to Russia’s Tsars, and journey down Nevsky Prospect, stopping for photos at the handsome Admiralty building, neo-classical Kazan Cathedral and monument to Catherine the Great.
Take in beautiful St Isaac's Cathedral and the onion-shaped domes of the Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood, all glittering with lights, and then wind your way back to your hotel, where your tour ends.
The guide was knowledgeable and very kind. She and the driver took us to many places even to our request to ensure we would see everything and would stop to take pictures. Very nice overall.
Good tour. City looks different at night. Lots of info

We enjoyed this trip - we were picked up and dropped back to our hotel. We had a guide and driver to ourselves and we saw buildings and places we hadn't previously visited. The guide was very informative and we learnt a lot. One word of warning - in June it is hardly is hardly "by night" as there is no night as such!
It was nice, except that the mini van used had dark tinted windows, so we could not have a good view
from inside the vehicle.
Our tour guide was very good!
The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.
Because of the time of year we went, the end of May, it was the White Nights, so the attractions were not lit up, as it was not dark!
The tour gave us a good understanding of the layout of St. Petersburg and both the guide and the driver made plenty of stops for us to take photos of the sites.
Not worth the money. The minivan was old and not clean.
