Jetpack flights depart from West Indian Cruise Boat Dock in St. Thomas, where you’ll meet your certified instructor for an orientation. The Jetlev JetRider is designed for safety and stability – it’s easy to learn and operate using high water pressure technology while you’re airborne.
After your introduction to the equipment, strap on your water-powered jetpack and start your adventure. Once you learn the basics, your 200-horsepower marine engine launches you up into the air on a 20- or 30-minute flight (depending on which option you select).
Enjoy the incredible sensation of soaring throughout your ride, as your instructor communicates with you and monitors your flight. Your jetpack pumps more than 1,000 gallons (3,785 liters) of water per-minute, generating over 420 pounds (190 kilos) of thrust! Take in the spectacular views of the island and the Caribbean Sea while you fly into the air, then land safely in the water.
This 20-minute flight experience for first-timers introduces you to the basics. Learn skills like steering, elevation control, low- to high-level taxiing, deep-water landings and walking on water!
This 30-minute flight experience offers the basics plus more advanced maneuvers, such as low hovers, underwater submarines, donut turns and end-of-flight dropouts! (Note: Advanced maneuvers are performed at the instructor’s discretion, based on your piloting ability and control.)
