simply the best guide i have ever met--we were 2 guests ,a brasilian lady and me (danish) and the guide/driver spouked portuguise/swedish and entertined us so well,in spite of the city-rain.
FABULOUS!! I bought this tour for my Dad and his wife and they LOVED LOVED LOVED this tour and especially their tour guide. I am hoping that Viator can give thename of the guide. This was a gold tour!!
This was THE BEST tour ever!! We had such a wonderful time with our knowledgeable guide, Leif. It was wonderful seeing the old city. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much!!!
Our guide was informative and a very nice person. We only had a small time in port, however we saw all the major building and given time to take pictures and tour the buildings we chose.
Excellent tour guide. comprehensive tour of all major sights in Stockholm. highly recommended the Vasa museum and the Gamla Stan old town - don't forget to order the princess cake. Tour departed even I was the only guest.
I had a wonderful time! The guide was very helpful and very knowledgeable. It was an inspirational trip and I won't hesitate in recommending it to my friends. Thanks Viator for making the experience worthwhile.
Our guide was terrific. We spent time at the Nobel Museum, but the greatest thing we did was see the Wasa Museum. This was utterly fantastic!
Our guide was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, courteous. He went out of his way to make the tour memorable.
My wife and I were the only two on this tour, so it was private and the tour guide shared a lot of commentary about Swedish life that we otherwise might not have heard. The Nobel Museum is not to be missed.
It was very informative, and the guide made the trip even more enjoyable than it should be.
I signed up for the trip assuming it would be mostly about Alfred Nobel's life in Stockholm. I was in town on a grant to explore Nobel's history. It ended up being a tour of Stockholm that ended at the Nobel Museum. I think Nobel was mentioned 2 other times (when showing us City Hall and when driving by what used to be his labs, but other than that, the tour was mainly just a Stockholm City Tour. I had been sick for 3 of the 5 days I had in Stockholm, so taking this tour on the last day of my visit was OK, given how much I hadn't already done on my own when I was sick. Had I been able to explore on my own, this tour would have been a repeat of what I had already done. I suggest marketing this as a tour that explores Stockholm and ends at the Nobel Museum to be more clear to Nobel history buffs. It would be good for people to take this tour on their very first day in Stockholm to get them oriented and to help them decide what they wanted to do in more detail on their own.
The tour guide was knowledgable and he took us to some nice views that we would not have found on our own, so that was great. A few more stops in the 2nd half of the tour would have been helpful to those who get a little carsick or are still a bit jet-lagged. We had several places to get out and walk around in the first hour but then none in the second hour.
This was more of a tour around the city and then they dropped us of by the Nobel museum but didn't actually get you in the museum nor explained. The tour ended there but we had to pat our museum entrance. We were not taken to the place where the awards were given out.
This tour was very disappointing -no different than an ordinary city tour except more expensive. Also it was suppose to include entry into Nobel museum and it didn't - would not recommend this tour at all. Hardly a mention of Nobel
We were and are very disappointed as the guide kept on driving on the same road again and again. Never stopped near Noble's house he just drove past and informed that is a private property we could not even get a glimpse of it . This tour title is very misleading. He did not even take us near Concert Hall which is supposed to be place where the Noble prizes are distributed. The people went on Hop on and Hop Off have seen more than what this tour shows. This tour is a mere waste of money. The guide was good but did not serve the purpose. We came all the way from Australia with lots of hopes on this tour. I feel you need to take sufficient steps to make it more vibrant and meaningful
