Great tour.... I've booked City Sightseeing Hop On- Hop Off Buses in London, Edinburgh, Dublin and now Stratford-upon-Avon. This is the only way to go....They give you insight, history and a bit of humor along with the best way to see a city!
Did what we wanted it to. Didn't have a lot of time so enabled us to see all the relevant places
Thoroughly recommend this tour. Excellent live and recorded commentary from friendly staff. Perfect way to see the sites of Stratford. Also recommend booking the house tickets with the driver as substantial saving are made.
This was my fourth trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. I take the bus tour every time because it gives me an overview of the city and stops at the most significant places.
Great way to see the highlights of the city. We got on and off when and where we wanted and got lots of information while on the bus. I highly recommend this as a way to see any city.
Friendly drivers tour included all the main tourist areas and we enjoyed it: what more could you want? Four out of five stars as we had an audio guide rather than a live one, which is only available at certain times of the year, and that adds a lot to the experience but nevertheless a good tour
This the way to get around to the key locations. Very basic transportation and recorded commentary. But the key sites are too spread out to walk.
Great tour but had to wait 45 minutes for bus at ann hathaways cottage some people waited an hour
Overall this was great.
I came by train and asked at the station where I cou catch the bus. Received wrong information- it would have been nice to have a posting in the station as to where to catch the sightseeing bus
The tour was quite short compared to others I have been on throughout the UK but it was very interesting and entertaining. I also especially appreciated the flexibility offered - I purchased the tour for the Saturday but we decided to take the tour on the Sunday instead without any issue. Also, the stops were very convenient. We picked up the bus right outside our hotel - The Stratford - it also stopped at the Maybird Shopping Centre for a bit of shopping along the way and also stopped at the Waterside where there are many good restuarants for lunch - we ate at Carluccio's. All in all a really fun day.
