Unforgettable excursion to the beautiful, still Heidi-like region of Eastern Switzerland.
The aerial cable car takes you to the peak of the panorama mountain, Hoher Kasten (1800 m / 6000 ft) with fascinating views over the green and hilly Appenzellerland, the Rhine Valley and the Vorarlberg (Austria). Visit the new revolving Restaurant and you will then we drive back to Appenzell where you enjoy about one hour at leisure. The pedestrian zone with its beautiful facades invites you for strolling and shopping or take an optional visit to the local museum.
Finally you will visit the Chocolate Factory MAESTRANI where you will be introduced to the secrets and art of chocolate making and get to taste one of the world famous, fine Swiss chocolates. Shopping opportunity is given in the factory shop where you could pick up a bargain!
Please note between July 21-August 3, The Chocolate Maestrani will be closed. Tours on these dates will visit the Appenzeller Museum instead.
