Good value way to explore Sydney and Darling Harbour with frequent ferries available. Taronga Zoo was a full day visit. We were impressed by the number of animals and the well appointed and spacious enclosures. The combined ticket means you can arrive by ferry and step almost straight on to the cable car which is a fun way to reach the entrance.
Really enjoyed the zoo visit especially the Outback area with Animals unique to Australia and Tasmania. City views from the Harbour perspective were very nice as well

We loved the hop on hop off ferry. The Taronga Zoo was an added bonus. Highly recommend for getting around the popular areas of Sydney.
The hop-on hop-off idea worked really well, with unlimited trips possible between Darling Harbour and Circular Quay, two important tourist centres, and great views of the Bridge (you go under it) and the Opera House. There is a tour-guide on the boat giving the history of what you're looking at.
You need a timetable as the boats are not that frequent and finish quite early. We really enjoyed the zoo (world-class), with the ride up and down in the cable car included. We didn't go on the fast boat out to Manly in the end, as we had too many other things to do back in the city, (and the sort of things on offer there we had already done elsewhere), so probably didn't get our money's worth from a 3-Day pass, but it was still helpful to have the option as a fallback.
Don't bother with the hop on hop off bus if you have the choice between the two because the hop on hop off cruise pass is the BEST. We had a great time and highly recommend this to anyone visiting Australia.

The ease of getting around was great, unfortunately it was raining the whole 3 days but all the staff were excellent and very helpful so this made the tour a great experience.
Great way to see the sites of Sysney harbour. Loved the zoo but could have used more than a day at the zoo. Used the pass and got the most out of it.
The Hop-on Hop-off cruise was fun, able to see the views and able to go where you needed to go. We love the Taronga Zoo. The only complain we have is the pier which is very confusing, we didn't know which jetty number they will arrive and leave, the instructions both verbal and paper were not clear and very confusing.
The zoo is amazing we didn't use the hop on hop off on he rest of our weekend so next me would maybe just go o the zoo
Despite the rain pouring down at the Zoo, it was a really nice experience. We enjoyed every day. The round trip in the Harbour and the trip to Manly was very enjoyable.
Our experience with the 3-Day Sydney Harbour Hop-On Hop-Off Cruise Pass Including Taronga Zoo Entry, was fantastic, it was a great way of getting around to see everything that Sydney harbour area has to offer. Boat was very clean and the staff on the boat were all so lovely. The only problem we seemed to have was the lady at the counter of the cruise centre was very rude and and spoke to us like we were children.. She was that sour it was like she had sucked lemons before she came to work. I am not recommending this to anyone we know, because her customer services was bloody terrible.
