What You Can Expect
The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains is located about 45 minutes from Sydney by helicopter. Once you are ready, your pilot takes you over the city so that you can see iconic spots such as Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and Olympic Park, where the Olympic Games were held in 2000. Then zip over Warragamba Dam and down into the Jamison Valley. From the air, marvel at the sculpted form of the Three Sisters, one of the most famous rock formations in the Blue Mountains.
After landing the helicopter at Katoomba Scenic World, have time for lunch at a restaurant that overlooks the mountains. Then explore the park-like setting and attractions such as the Scenic Railway and Scenic Cableway, which take you into the lush rainforest and over the Jamison Valley. You can get great photos of the Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary, Katoomba Falls and Three Sisters on the rides. If you’d like to walk into the rainforest, take the Scenic Walkway, a raised boardwalk that meanders through the trees where you might see native animals and birds.
At the designated time, retrace your steps to board your helicopter. Soak in panoramic views of the amazing landscape during your return flight to Sydney, where your private tour ends with hotel drop-off.
We organised this trip less than 4 days before and it was perfect. Amazing experience, fabulous weather and an awesome pilot!
Did not happen due to poor weather conditions, the gentlemen at the heliport rescheduled a trip around Sydney which was excellent. Excellent team really nice helpful staff.
Simply awesome. More expensive but a quicker and more breathtaking way to travel to the Blue Mountains. Flight over the harbour was also superb.
Our Pilot Cameron was great and very knowledgeable about the area...

A wonderful trip, the whole team were superb! The blue mountains are really beautiful and well worth a visit.
This tour was amazing!
We had a great day with Carl our pilot. Stunning scenery in the blue Mountains and in Sydney and well worth the Bucks
Great experience. The pilot is very helpful. Seeing sydney and blue mountain from the top is deadly beautiful. Only thing is that I was being picked up at 9:45am, arrived at the airport 10:15 and had to wait till almost 12:00 to take off. Could be better arranged to avoid to long waiting.
This is an absolute must for locals and visitors alike. We cannot stop talking about this adventure to anyone who will listen. Check in 24 hours in advance for the complimentary hotel pick up. This company should be up for the tourist award in friendliness, knowledge, cleanliness of facility/helicopters to the top notch helicopter pilots and employees. Views from the helicopter over the harbor and Blue Mountains will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Plus, the landing pad at the Blue Mountains is right across the street from the monorail that brings tourists to the bottom of the Rain Forest. James, our pilot was professional, yet became one of our family while we were together. Absolutely outstanding!
We decided to spend a bit more and do the heli tour to the Blue Mountains rather than the bus. Yes it is expensive, but we had the most amazing day. From the moment we booked the tour until we were dropped back at our motel the service was so professional. These guys should be nominated for best tourism operators. If you are deciding, JUST do it ! You will not be dissapointed. Definately the highlight of our holiday. Thank you James our fabulous pilot, Lincoln our driver and Steph and Jessica. Regards Max and Jill. SA.
