What You Can Expect
Your knowledgeable guide shares a wealth of fun facts, gossip and tricks of the trade from the set of Home and Away, which has been popular since its debut in 1987. Notable former cast members include actors such as Heath Ledger and Naomi Watts.
Follow your guide to outdoor locations from Home and Away, including the Summer Bay Surf Club, The Pier, Alf's Bait Shop, the lighthouse and the lovely beach. With luck, you may get to watch the crew in action if you visit on a day when the show is filming. The cast will sometimes give autographs and pose for photographs. A pic with Brax would make a great souvenir!
Enjoy some free time to take in the sights of ‘Summer Bay’ then reboard your coach and head to the charming town of Manly. Take a scenic coastal route that passes Whale Beach, Avalon Beach, the Bilgola lookout and Dee Why.
Your tour ends in Manly, a suburb of Sydney that is renowned for its natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle. Stay and explore this vibrant beachside suburb at your leisure, perhaps taking a stroll along the coast, renting a bike or kayak, or eating at one of the excellent restaurants along the beach. Traveling back to Sydney is easy on the Sydney Ferry (own expense), which affords terrific views on the return to Circular Quay.
Great to see the cast and the locations.

Great fun and we learnt a lot about the different settings for the show and how things are put together. We were fortunate to see some filming taking place and to have a photo op with Georgie Parker aka Roo Stewart, who was a lovely and very gracious lady with her time. We had wonderful tour guides with driver Paul and his lovely partner Tanya. The day was finished off with a gorgeous ferry ride back from Manly just after sunset with all the city lights!
I am an avid watcher of Home and Away so loved the tour immensely. Had plenty of time in each place the tour guide and commentator were both very friendly and very helpful. We got dropped of in Manley instead of where we got on at the Rocks which I thought was going to be a negative but actually it was great we sat and had drinks by the water, explored Manley had dinner there then went back by ferry so in actual fact was much better than being dropped of where we started. Excellent trip and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
Being an absolute die hard home and away fan this was a must for me. Funnily enough my husband enjoyed it too although he was not that keen on going. We were lucky enough to see them filming which was a real bonus. We were dropped off at Manley Beach on the return journey had a strole along the beach and treated ourselves to great fish and chips before catching the ferry back to Circular Quay.
A must see for any home and away fan! However my husband who isn and #39;t a fan also really enjoyed the tour, which includes great beaches and scenery. The driver / guide was excellent, very informative with a sense of humour. Plenty of time to look around and take photos.
My grand daughter had been waiting for this trip. She was excited to see the filming and meet and have her photo with Alf. The guide was friendly and informative.

This was a fantastic tour! Paul the "flaming Gallah" bus driver was immense and had a wealth of interesting knowledge about Australian history, land and architecture. Tania the Home and Away tour guide was very well connected with the cast and we had the best day inspite of the rain. Highly recommended.
