Could not fault any part of the day, from the service to the great bus driver to the lovely day.

The driver was excellent, loved his sense of humour, and the wineries were high.

It was brilliant, a great day. The coach driver was very friendly, the staff at the wineries were great and the food and wine was beautiful. Two thumbs up!

Terrific value for the money. Gorgeous countryside, spotless restaurant at the winery with an excellent meal. The driver was friendly, informative and helpful. Do not miss this tour. Excellent way to see the countryside in comfort.

This was the second time I did this tour and it was as amazing as the first time. The driver/guide gave excellent, entertaining commentary on the way to the Hunter Valley. The tour of the first winery was interesting, however I would have liked to have less time for lunch here, and more time at the second winery as we did not have enough time to do any cheese tasting there. The village shops at Hunter Valley Gardens are a great end to the day!

It is certainly not Napa or Sonoma, but a good trip to see and appreciate the Australian countryside. For the record, we only went to 2 wineries - the summary says three. We don't count a place where one can buy wine as a winery. The Hunter Valley is far from Sydney, 2-2.5 hours, so bring something to read or listen to if you don't enjoy looking out the window for an extended amount of time. You must try the "Jungle Juice" at your first stop; it will be memorable. The lunch provided was extremely disappointing, which many in the group agreed on. Nevertheless, take this tour and enjoy the scenery, especially if you have never been on a tasting tour before. The basics of wine and wine tasting are introduced.

Interesting, but the size of the group was a minus.

It was a long trip from Sydney to the Hunter Valley, longer than I initially thought. But it was a good day out and I learnt a bit about the wines of the Hunter Valley.

Nice experience with many good wineries and wine making.

A lovely well organised trip with very pleasant staff in charge. Though we can't blame anyone, some people might find it a long day, especially taking into account the hotel pickups and drop-offs in the Sydney traffic. Had we known the geography better we probably would have preferred to walk to an RV as some of the distances were small - we did go round in circles in the coach!!

Enjoyed without question. It would have been better had the group been made up of people who really are interested in wines, history, the art of making wines and the decisions a wine maker must process in his/her mind. The group for the most part, although nice did not share a real desire to understand wine but were more interested in shopping or just the tastings.

The 3 wineries we went to were nice but one of them told us the history of their winery that we missed out on some of the wine tasting because she was so long winded. The food served was extremely good and was worth the day's tour.

A full day out! Great narration and stories from our very professional and personable driver and plentiful wine tastings. A little too long wandering Hunter Garden Village, but otherwise a perfect day in the Hunter!
