Your Sydney food tour starts with hotel pickup, then hop into your air-conditioned minivan to travel to the first neighborhood on your itinerary. Inner West Tour:
Head to the suburb of Alexandria where you are introduced to a local coffee roaster who is passionate about coffee. Then stop into an premium meat emporium that features quality Australian beef. Next up, check out a rainbow of native and exotic culinary herbs at Rozelle, then graze on cheeses, salami and antipasti at a vibrant family-owned Italian delicatessen in Five Dock. Wrap up with a wine tasting at a boutique winery that features some great Australian red and white wines.

South Sydney Tour:
Your guide takes you around South Sydney to top gourmet destinations, including one in the Camperdown district that stocks an array of cookware that is sure to inspire your inner chef. Then follow your guide into local shops to taste fresh-baked Mediterranean-style cakes and breads, and succulent roast lamb. Next up, a spin around multicultural Marrickville where you nibble Vietnamese spring rolls wrapped in rice paper. Then wash it all down with handcrafted beers in a hip Erskineville bar. Our guide, Helen, was excellent! She was very informative and friendly. I joined South Sydney tour on my last day at Sydney. I sampled and bought lots of cakes, breads, and various foods, and then shared yummy memories at home the next day. It was a pleasurable experience.

The tour was fantastic we learned a great deal about coffee roasting from a passionate convert to the coffee business. We got some background on some of the iconic neighborhoods with some small private businesses that were family owned for generations and obsessed with providing the very best food, wine and coffee to their customers. The visit to the Italian deli in the photo was the highlight of the tour they not only fed us with the finest cheeses, olives, deli meats but they prepared a pasta dish with some very exotic and hard to get cheeses mixed with virgin olive oil that was to "die for"!

this was an excellent tour, the guide, Rohan was knowledgeable and managed well with the traffic on a Saturday morning. The places we visited were a real eyeopener and it was hard now buying too much when I was going home in a few days, sorry I didn't do the tour earlier in my trip to Sydney.
The visit to P and R Delicatessen was wonderful and the opportunity to taste their supply of cheese and meats was an unexpected benefit.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Rowan our guide was very friendly and informative. Had a great time exploring these food outlets. My favourite was Sweet Belem - Portuguese tarts to die for. We were so impressed, my husband and I call back in on the Sunday, to take some home to share with the family. Ps they have good coffee also. Now we know where these hidden gems are, we will most definitely be going back.

We had a great time. It was interesting and learnt some new things. The tour was relaxing and we had a lot of laughs., Tour guide was great and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. If you want a easy going -shorter outing, we would recommend this one.The only problem we had was restraining ourselves from buying too much!!
