Loved it ! Very nice. We also hit the Vivid lights in the harbor, and 2 of our party climbed the mast to the crows nest like a real pirate ! Super.
Wonderful. Relaxing. Fantastic. Great way to see the Harbour, relaxing. Highly recommend
TABLE TALK DINING
this was a wonderful afternoon, the staff on the boat are very accommodating, and it is something that all the family can enjoy together
Great views of Sydney Harbour! Superb snacks we'd have loved more of the deep-fried sausages, but they went fast! Plenty of beverages of all varieties and unlimited refills. It was difficult to find the location for the tour, but it's Campbell's Cove Jetty, with a green gate, between the Hyatt Hotel and the Overseas Passenger Terminal. You can walk from the Harbour train station - just follow the boardwalk along to your left, opposite the Opera House, and you'll get there. Benches to sit on while you wait for your ship to come in. -
It was a good look at the harbour and the crew were very informative, but because of the lack of wind we could only go under sail for a short while.
Awesome trip. Great views of the harbor and of the Opera House. Worth the money. The staff could have been friendlier.
An amasing tour. Just slowly ambelling in the harbour. Well organised and run.
My husband and I recently went out on the afternoon cruise on a very windy day, all was going well until the engine died and they had to anchor, crew did a good job and we ended up being out an extra hour and got to see the city light up which was great. Unfortunately we didn't get to sail as the winds weren't right and the light refreshments aren't very good, a bowl of chorizo's and some spinach and cheese pastries, but an enjoyable trip
not exactly as exciting as told in the write up, the kids were not involved as said, you had to be careful where you sat on deck as there was grease in spots but the crew were all lovely
JOSHUA A DHARMAWAN
We had a good time on this tour, weather luckily clear, accompanied by cold beer. After reaching the distance, engine stopped and we sail by the wind... nice quiet trip..
We did this cruise during the Xmas / New year holidays.... it was VERY busy..... We were unable to hear the welcome aboard and if any safety instructions where given we missed them! (A concern as a parent with children doing the cruise) The Sydney harbour speaks for itself, the views were fabulos and the sailing ship glides peacefully around the major sights .....
A chance to take pictures of the opera house and Sydney skyline from a different angle. Length of boat ride was about right.
Generally okay if one prefers to be left alone on the cruise. Personally would have preferred if there is some commentary about the habour as we cruise or even some interesting information to digest along the way.
Whilst it was enjoyable, it wasn't something I would recommend. There was little ambiance - tour guide was not the best - limited in her ability to instil enthusiasm and interest. Had done a previous tall ship excursion, where pirates ran the ship and it was much more memorable.
Not worth the money to be honest.
The ship is truly old and the crew is friendly, which is good. But the tour is not informative and not interesting at all. Don't waste your money on it.
