We really enjoyed this tour once we found our way into the Opera House to the ticket windows. There weren't any signs and we ended up circling the whole Opera House until we found someone to direct us. Once on the tour, it was great. The guide was knowledgable and there was an interesting short film about the history of how the opera house was designed and built which was an arduous process since there had never been a design of shells creating a massive structure before. And there was a long process to pick the architect and select his untraditional concept. The building itself is wonderful and we were so lucky to happen to visit the main auditorium when the symphony was practicing...heavenly!

Excellent guide and we recommend this tour to anyone rather an opera fan or not. It is the interior architecture and building of this iconic structure that is so informative. We have already recommended
this tour to several people on our vacation. Sorry I can't remember our guide's name but he was so interesting and quite theatrical in his presentation. Worth every penny spent on this tour.
