fantastic building! great tasting food plate.
We booked the midday access-ability tour, as my friend cannot manage stairs. We had Yvonne as our guide and she was excellent. The pace of her tour and her knowledge and presentation were outstanding. as an added bonus, It wasn't as crowded as the other tours. A large hall and a smaller one were visited and detailed and we enjoyed and learned a lot. We topped off our walking tour by booking the Tasting Plate at the Opera Kitchen for lunch afterwards.....that was the icing on the cake as a 3 tier extravaganza of wonderful variety was presented and we had a marvelous time eating and enjoying the view ...and fighting off cheeky seagulls!!

Fabulous place. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and efficient, and wanted us to experience the entire building on our tour!
Walked up and presented our voucher at the window and twenty minutes late we were on our tour. And this was on a Saturday. Tour was very interesting and we had an extremely funny and entertaining guide. Must do while in Sydney.
Tour was amazing due to the guide's professional and enthusiast tour. They were very helpful and catered to everyone's needs such as allowing more time for those who were climbing the stairs outside. The information you get from the rich history of the opera house was awesome. Would recommend
Great guide informative and nice tour. Be sure and go to ticket office with your vouchers to get tickets and tour time. We thought it was open to all every half hour but not the way they run tours. We came at 0845 for 0900 tour but were given a ticket for 1000. We got a chance to walk the botanical gardens while we waited.
This tour was our highlight of our holiday.
It had everything we wanted to see.
Fantastic building inside and out.
Great history guide informing how and when the Opera house was created.
Without giving much away, I would recommend to everyone who goes to Sydney, put this tour top of your sightseeing list.
You also get the chance of having your photos of you taken professionally in the Opera house which can be a lovely memory of your day there. There is a charge for the photos if you decide to take them, we found the charge reasonable.
The auditoriums are spectacular, and there is no ban on cameras or video cams.
A brilliant tour, well worth the time and money.
Cannot find a negative comment to say.
You will have to pay for the photo though.
Fascinating tour of the Opera House. Our guide was excellent, with a good mix of interesting and entertaining facts throughout. It's a pity the reason for the initial personal photograph wasn't fully explained or the high cost of the photo booklet at the end, however this did not detract from the enjoyment.
This tour was very informative and our tour guide even belted out some Opera tunes for us!!!
Excellent. We had a great guide and it was wonderful to get such a great history of such a magnificent place
Wonderful, passionate tour guide. Loved seeing the workings of the OH. Only complaint was fighting and protecting our Tasting Plate lunch from the very aggressive seagulls at the OH Cafe. We actually had a whole shrimp taken after a bird swooped down and grabbed it off the tray and another with a failed attempt to fly off with a chicken slider. Enjoyed our lunch but had to be on guard due to these bird attacks!
This tour was amazing, worth going on. Both my girlfriend and I loved it!!!! Highly recommended :
Comprehensive, fascinating overview of an iconic architectural wonder
One of our best tours in Sydney. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide.
This was excellent and well worth the time to do. Fascinating background stories. Guide was brilliant.
After taking the tour we decided to watch a show. The guide was great and informative!
The guide was extremely knowledgeable of the Opera house and kept us interested.
Tour leader ?Jeannette was fabulous. It was so much more than I had ever dreamed. Definitely a bucket list item! Thank you.
My 9 am guide was superb. She had been giving tours for a long time and was able and willing to answer all questions, easy and hard. Sorry i can't remember her name. I think it was Maryann. The tour was a high point of my short one-week visit to Australia. The thrilling architecture, the views inside and outside, and just the excitement of being in a world renowned icon. Getting there on the train from the airport was easy. People were so friendly and helpful.
