Choose one (or all three!) of the fabulous shows that are part of this year’s ‘Summer at the House,’ performance program in A reserve or premium seating, and enjoy a complimentary drink at one of the theater’s waterfront bars during interval or before or after the show.
Before the show, take a tour of the Sydney Opera House and hear the stories behind the design of Sydney’s World Heritage-listed theater. You'll see where more than 1,600 performances are staged each year, and follow the labyrinth of behind-the-scenes corridors that lead to more than 1,000 rooms in this busy performing arts center.
Blaze
You'll be swept up by the music and dance of Blaze, a West End-style musical production with DJs, dancers, light shows and the songs of Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and more. It’s like Australia’s Got Talent on stage!
Doctor Who
Doctor Who fans will enjoy the drama and spectacle of the BBC’s beloved TV series when the stage fills with Daleks and Cybermen, and the Doctor plays on the big screen. The symphonic spectacular is performed by the Metropolitan Orchestra and hosted by Doctor Who actors Alex Kingston and Mark William.
La Soireé
Cabaret and vaudeville meet circus sideshow when La Soireé hits the stage. This celebration of burlesque fun combines costumes, comedy, acrobatics, music and pure sassiness, with comic cover versions of songs providing entertainment with an alternative twist.
