What You Can Expect
Your double-decker bus features an open top that allows for great views of all the sights. The mild climate of this harborside city makes it the ideal vehicle for cruising around Sydney’s downtown district and outer reaches. Admire the World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House, Parliament House, Hyde Park and historic sandstone buildings in the Rocks. Then head further afield to look at Paddington’s 18th-century iron-lace terraced houses, Double Bay’s sprawling mansions and Australian surf culture in Bondi Beach. Informative onboard commentary sheds light on Sydney’s history and landmarks.
You can hop on and off the bus as often as you like with this one-day pass. The full route of 34 stops takes approximately 90 minutes to complete without stopping, and buses run every 20 minutes. Transfer between the Sydney and Bondi Beach routes at either the 100 William Street or Central Station stops.
Families can enjoy savings with the Family Pass, which is valid for two adults and up to four children.
The departure point for the hop-on hop-off bus is located within a 10-minute walk of the Barangaroo and Circular Quay cruise ports so you determine the time you return to your ship. Please allow yourself ample time to enjoy the excursion and ensure your timely return to the port. This excursion is not covered by our worry-free policy.
The way to see Sydney, it was a nice time and great experience. All fine for us, great experience.
Worked perfect for us. Changed at Central to accommodate both circles in our short day.
This is the best way to introduce a new visitor to Sydney. Very easy to learn where the sights and points of interest are and to get on and off at will. Viator booking rate saved us a few dollars off of the posted fare.
An excellent experience to find your way around the city. As the lady on the bus suggested we did the first half of the tour, changed at Central and did the Bondi and beaches section then back to Central and changed buses again, they run regularly so never long to wait. We then got at at the fish harbour and had lunch, a great find before catching the bus back to Circular Quay. Very good value for money and a very interesting commentary.
This excursion was everything we wanted it to be. Our wish was that the busses ran a bit later into the evening and perhaps started earlier in the morning !
Great value. It was a very good way to get an overview of Sydney. We were on a cruise and only stopped in Sydney for one day. It gave us a chance to see many interesting sites in a very short time.

The hop on hop off bus always seems to work for my wife and I as we can see a lot and get a commentary which provides information. We hopped on and off on a number of occasions including Bondi beach. Good value especially as we had a reduction due to age!
