The Backyard to Bush exhibit is an environmental wonderland where visitors will travel from the familiar world of the home and backyard complete with creepy crawlies and pets, through an adventure packed Australian farmyard, and into the wilderness of the bush, including a gigantic Wombat burrow.
Taronga Zoo's expansive Great Southern Oceans exhibit is now OPEN to the public and it provides an important and thrilling introduction to Australia's marine wildlife. The new 1.2 hectare exhibit features Australian Sea Lions, Australian Fur Seals, New Zealand Fur Seals, Californian Sea Lions, Leopard Seals, Penguins and Pelicans living in unique displays, emulating their natural habitats and offering spectacular viewing for visitors.
