Board a motorized boat and depart for the beautiful lagoon of Manihi for a PICNIC on a motu (islet). Shaped like an ellipsis, the atoll is 28 km long and 8 km wide, with only one opening, the Tairapa Pass. The lagoon of Manihi has a rich underwater world with lots of species of fish and wonderful corals.
Along the way, you will learn to fish in the easiest manner. The fish you catch will then be cooked and you will have nothing else to do then enjoy the scenery and the wonders of the lagoon. Your guide will cater for you with a Barbeque lunch on the white sand beach.
A demonstration of the many ways we use coconut will help you to take the traditional marinated fish to your home. Take your time to snorkel near the motu or relax on the sandy beach under the shade of a coconut tree. This is a genuine tropical paradise far from civilization.
