The Pomares were simply one of the most important family of the islands.
The TOMB of the FIRST MISSIONARIES is nearby the village.
A stop will be made at the COMMERCIAL CENTRE of HAAPITI for shopping.
Also enjoy the VILLAGE of MAATEA with its charming homes draped in flowers.
Also included, is a stop at BELVEDERE view point which affords a great vista of OPUNOHU and COOK'S BAYS and also the island's scenic mountains (Mt ROTUI).
