Firstly you will visit James Norman Hall Museum, a beautiful museum dedicated to American writer, James Norman Hall, author of the legendary best seller "Mutiny on the Bounty". Feel the ambience of the charming colonial-style house and learn about the fantastic life of her owner.
The tour continues to Tahara's view point and then to the legendary Arahoho Blow Hole, a lavatube designed by liquid lava flowing under cold and hard lava and creating a channel. When waves crash against the rocks and enter in this channel, the result is a powerful sea water geyser that showers on-lookers - don't stand too close!
Next you will see the the Vaipahi Gardens and then the Maraa Fern Grottoe, located by a road and lagoon. Enjoy a stop to admire the surrounding gardens which reveals the grotto - a peaceful place to enjoy a rest!
Finally you will visit the Museum of Tahiti and Her Islands. Exhibits cover the gamut, from flora and fauna to Polynesian culture and history. This museum is a must for all travelers to Tahiti!
