We highly recommend this tour. Felix(Lao) our tour guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The hotel and breakfast were superb! We enjoyed the Sun Moon lake and Pagoda, the temples and most of all the street food at Lukang. We happened to be in Lukang on a holiday so there were many people and food vendors lining the streets.
5 stars experience!
My wife and I had a enjoyable time during our recent trip. The guide was very professional and informative. This make the tour memorable although we had been to Taiwan a few times recently. The service and lodging was excellent. Hope to engage more Viator dealings in the future.
Our guide James and driver Jason were excellent! James' knowledge of Chinese and European history was very impressive. Stopping at the Puli brewery for wine tasting was fun. The Tehua Village home of the Ito people was very educational and the beauty and craftsmanship of Wenwu temple was astonishing. Of course Sun Moon Lake was as beautiful as advertised, and the shore walk was gorgeous. Some great food along the way too! Highly recommended!
Jack was such a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide! We very much enjoyed all the stops and the nature we were able to enjoy on this trip. I only wish we could have stayed longer than the two days!
The tour guide was so informative and so expert in the historical of places that he showed to us. His English is very good. We also were so surprised with his stamina when escorting us climb up to place where Cih-en Pagoda located.
Great tour, staff very flexible with requests and knowledgeable about the locations we visited.
Hotel Del Largo was 5 star!
Quite rushing on the way back to Taipei. Otherwise good hotel and food.
The write up stated we'd visit a paper-making shop. It quickly became apparent that we were going to a rice wine factory instead. :-(
Luckily the guide let us do our own thing at Sun Moon Lake (biking) which saved the trip.
