We did not know anything about Tallin so this was very interesting. The Music Grounds while some might think boring were very important in keeping the city's culture alive during a very violent time in history.
An excellent tour once we found the pickup point! The guide was very friendly knowledgeable and we saw both the new and old parts of this beautiful city.
We both greatly enjoyed the excursion around Tallinn, and the insights provided by our guide, Erik. He was very knowledgeable, easy to hear, and he was adept at walking backwards on the cobblestones of the Old Town while narrating. :-
Guide was very accommodating. Had rainy weather but found places where we could go in and get dry
The tour guide was excellent. She gave out lots of information, was available if we needed her, and seemed to be genuinely concerned that are tour went well... and it did.
On May 19, This tour was fantastic and our guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable and thoughtful.
We were traveling with my parents 82 and 81 years old, she was very considerate.
Old town of Tallinn was a very pleasant surprise. I have traveled many European countries, but this was very quaint and beautiful.. I strongly recommend this trip.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. And Tallinn was like being in the fairytale
The tour was great as well as the tour guide. She gave a complete tour and absolutely did not rush us. She was also very friendly and knowledgable. I gave the tour 5 stars due to her but again the meeting place is IMPOSSIBLE to find! Nothing is clearly marked and as it was early in the morning there were not many people around to ask and those who were around were clueless! I don't understand why the tour bus cannot do the pick-up at the ships port entrance?... Please consider changing the pick up point. We ended up calling the tour company and the bus came back from us. It was not a fun way to start the morning.
We were met right outside the cruise port by our guide and taken to a small van. We spent the first half hour picking up at hotels. As there were no people to pick up we got a private tour. At first I think the guide was a bit miffed, but she warmed up after awhile. A nice bus tour, but the walking tour was the highlight. This town is very beautiful and you can only really see it by foot. The guide showed us some local "color" spots not usually seen by the tours.
An excellent tour a little tricky finding pick up point, but it was great being on a smaller vehicle so that we could see some areas a large bus couldn't manuever. It would have been difficult for some to walk back to the ship, but we had a sunny beautiful day so the walk for us was enjoyable
A little hard to find where to start the tour. Tour desk on ship had to call Port authority to find out for me. However, once I got there (quite a distance from the ship and the cruise port), all was well and the guide very informative and helpful. Had a lovely day and guide gave advice on other things to do, where to eat etc. Also helped that there were only five of us on the tour. Loved Tallinn.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative on our tour of Tallinn. Her "English" was very clear and easy to understand. The tour included all to points of interest we wanted to see. Eric Edge
I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESION THAT I WILL BE PICK UP AT THE PORT I SPEND 1/2 AN HOUR LOOKING AND ASKING FOR THIS TOUR WENT TO THE INFORMATION DESK AT THE TERMINAL AND THEY GAVE ME A BROCHURE FOR THE TOUR I BOUGHT THEY EVEN CALLED THE # NO ANSWER I WENT TO THE HOTEL AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WAITING FOR ME AT 10:30AM AT THAT LOCATION THE TOUR WAS PERFECT SO WAS THE GUIDE AALSA. BETTER COMUNICATION IS NEEDED
Tallinn was definitely a surprise. We enjoyed our tour and stay in Tallinn. Had a great tour guide who knew a lot about the history and area. Highly recommend the tour by Viator.
We were met right outside the cruise port by our guide. A nice bus tour was very informative
and the walking tour in Old town of Tallinn was a very pleasant and beautiful.
We bought 3 tours from Viator during our latest cruise vacation. This travel company is very reliable and well organized.
For sure we are going to buy from Viator again.
The tour and the tour guide were great but it was a little confusing trying to figure out where to meet the tour guide. The directions should say outside of the port gate with the other groups not just the Tallinn Balloon. Also I expected to be brought back to the port and not have to find my own way back.
The instructions for meeting the tour were not complete. We missed the bus, but they did come back for us which was great. The microphone only worked 40 of the time. Very frustrating for everyone on the bus including the tour guide and bus driver. Should have back up microphones available!!!!!
Promptly picked up. Covered exactly what we thought would be covered.
Very good guide whose knowledge was good and spoke English well.
Well worth the cost.
Would recommend this excursion to anyone sailing into Tallinn.
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Good split of coach tour followed by the walking town form the upper town to the lower town. Thanks
Had a great day and our guide was very knowledgeable. Lots of walking on cobblestone streets.
what a treat to be there for choir rehearsal
I enjoyed the tour in Tallinn. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgable. She also marked the map to help us get back to the cruise ship.
The guide whilst pleasant wasn't the easiest to understand. We did however enjoy Tallin - lovely place
