Catamaran Cruise from Clearwater to Caladesi and Honeymoon Islands
This 2.5-hour tour will take you to Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island from Clearwater Bay. Meet at Clearwater Beach, board the double-decker catamaran, and set sail through the Intracoastal Waterway toward St Joseph Sound in Dunedin before continuing through Hurricane Pass and into the Gulf of Mexico.
Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island were once one large barrier island, but a massive hurricane in 1921 split the island into two separate sections, creating Hurricane Pass. Today, each island is designated a Florida State Park. On your tour, your captain will elaborate on the region’s history and point out the myriad celebrity mansions dotting the coast.
