The tour was excellent. pick up was on time. The tour guide Ben could not have been better, his knowledge and guidance was top class.
Our guide, Amir was excellent! I so appreciated his obvious, dedicated preparation. Not only did we get a 4000 year look at history but we also got to hear (to me) new and current views and opinions on the state of affairs in Iseral. again affirming that nothing in this world is black and white. I so appreciated to hear what it is like to live and work in this wonderful cuntry and their struggles on both sides of the ;political issues. Eye opening and worth it. Amir did not shove his opinions down our thoughts but merely showed us some other ways to think. In additions to that the site we saw and his very thorough explanations (without overwhelming us too much!) were excellent. AND floating in the Dead Sea is not to be missed. Never in my life did I think I would get this chance. Such a great tour of the old city capped off with a sea float and a history and political lesson to boot. Thank you!
Great experience. Got to cover a lot of sites and tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly.
I loved this tour. The guide was absolutely brilliant. It was like being part of a family with someone who really looked out for you. For me the speed was great - lots of things packed in and never a dull moment. Our guide also took extra care to make sure we saw some of the unusual sights, and got up close.
My only slight criticism, is it's really hard to leave a review on this site! You have to login, obtain a password, login again, and navigate to 'my tours and reviews' - you really should just be able to review more easily.
Had a great tour of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. Our guide, Ozi (?), was great, full of energy and information. Good group of people that added to the experience.Fascinating places to see and a great way to spend the day.
Our driver/guide was fantastic, and I apologise for not remembering his name now, 4 countries later! He made very clear what we could expect, and when. He had good knowledge and great people skills. He even took us up onto the rooftops of Jerusalem, for a spectacular view. The Dead Sea experience was great, and his assistance at lunch was much appreciated. Really good experience!
Very nice trip, well organized and very nice guiding. An excellent day.
Great guide, informative, fascinating day and a great experience. Also a great way to combine culture with some fun and relaxation.
Awesome experience! Everyting we were looking for. Jerusalem was an amazing city and our tour guide showed us everyting we wanted to see. Great stops for shopping and lunch too. On the way to the Dead Sea we stopped and took a short camel ride! We floated in the Dead Sea and put the mud all over our bodies. Our skin still feels soft a wee later. This was the perfect tour for us!
We were picked up at 7am, and taken to the meeting site...We boarded the Jerusalem Dead Sea tour...we brought snacks and bottle water for the road trip,(its a long day, highly recomend it..) our tour guide was very informative and nice...the holy city is amazing a must see, before the dead sea we stopped at a rest stop to buy food and water and souvenirs, then to the dead sea...also amazing, wish we could have spent more time there enjoying the public beach....we had a great time..we love VIATOR..thank you for taking good care of us.....Jimmy, Becky, and Donna from Arizona, USA.....
The tour guides were excellent and though I thought the bus changing was a bit excessive, it was well organized! The bus even dropped me off at the airport after my trip which was just awesome and I'm so appreciative for this! I would recommend this trip to anyone travelling to Israel and hope that I'm able to go back to Israel and see more of this stunning country! :)
Seems almost impossible to get through so much history in one morning! A comprehensive introduction to old Jerusalem with all the must see sights, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Wailing/Western Wall (where there is time to pray and place a wish). In the afternoon you get a couple of hours at the Dead Sea, which is plenty of time. Lunch was a traditional stuffed pitta bread with a drink of your choice for a reasonable 40 Shekels. There was a short compulsory stop at a gift shop, but zero pressure and there were things worth buying. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and humourous. Recommended.
