We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Graceland. The guides were very friendly and informative and the audio tour was great. We had the VIP passes so had access to all the exhibits - all were great - well preserved and carefully looked after. The rooms were so impressive with his suits and gold records/albums...it was hard to take it all in. A very enjoyable walk down memory lane.
It is great if you are a fan you only need a couple of hours as it is not big.
I am mainly a classical music fan. I always thought that Elvis was a very talented musician though. When my wife and I decided to take holiday including Memphis, We had to include this trip. It could have been tacky, but neither of us felt that it was. It was a great experience and actually very moving. We'll worth setting a full day aside for. Be sure to follow it up with the Sun Studios tour. It just rounded our day of perfectly.
Once we were there we opted to upgrade to the VIP tour to avoid waiting in line. The tour was very good and took us about four hours to see all we wanted to see. It is quite commercial with numerous gift shops but you aren't obligated to buy. Overall a great experience to remember how big he was.
The tour of GRACELAND is a must see if you're any kind of music fan. Beyond our expectations!!
Very well organized your and yet you did not feel rushed at any time.
Great tour. Elvis was an amazing person. We had great rain storms that day but everything was wonderful anyway. Well organized and the tour directors were very informative. Would certainly recommend your company. Also all the emails etc were most informative as you are certainly well organized.
Must do for any Elvis fan. Graceland was out of this world. Would suggest VIP tour as you do not have to wait and if you want to return in that day you can. Also you get to see more than on the other tours. Tip if you can make 7.30 in the morning at Graceland you can go to his grave. A must.
We loved it but thought the VIP tour was a bit of a rip off there was nothing major that everyone could not have seen but we did enjoy it
It was nice to be able to go through the house twice with the VIP package!
We stayed in the Heartbreak Hotel on Lonely Street as mentioned in the song and we didn't have far to walk to exchange our vouchers for tickets. We did have a wait to get on the bus to cross the road. We were given headphones for the audio tour and were dropped off at the front door of Graceland. Once inside we self guided and walked through the house and grounds. The house was very dark inside but the quality of the furnishings couldn't be denied. So many costumes, gold records and commendations. I think everybody was awestruck. There is a presence there, a feeling of actually being part of that time, joy and sadness for a life that finished much too soon. The bus collected everybody and took them back over the road where they could visit the aeroplane and car museum, gift shops and ice cream shop. The atmosphere all around the area was of Elvis singing. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Graceland is simply exceptional. The house itself is so lovely and peaceful, and you can feel Elvis's presence everywhere. The exhibits change all the time; each time I've visited, there was something new and interesting to see. This trip was a special celebration for my niece's 18th birthday. It was her first trip to Graceland (my third), and she had a wonderful time as well.
Excellent, we throughly enjoyed the experience. The tour was absolutely fantastic!
Another dream come true. Visited the King at his home Graceland. Everything in this area of Memphis was well laid out and well thought for the thousands of visitors who must come here each year. The tour was self guided, but heaps ot time to see and absorb it all. Just as he left it, all his awards, his movie costumes, his show outfits and his records on display. One could not help being moved, when seeing home movies, and hearing Lisa Maree tell about her father in different rooms. The gift shops were mostly tasteful and if you wanted a souvenier there were heaps of types to choose from. Parking was plentiful, the bus taking you back and forth was quaint but a great way to control numbers at any given time. Courteous staff everywhere. I have photos I will treasure forever. So glad I booked this tour, Thank you.
