Lisbon is a really lovely city, plenty of nice shops and interesting places to visit. The tour bus takes you to the most famous landmarks such as Belam Tower and the Monument of Discoveries with the choice to do a culture tour and ride on a tram or have spare time on your own. We chose to do a bit of shopping and grab some food. One downside of the trip was the time it took to get to Lisbon - from our hotel in Pria da rocha it took 5 hours and 4 coming back!!! But all in all I would recommend it, the guide on the bus very informative and told told of the history of the city in both English and German. Will visit Lisbon again sometime soon but this time for much longer than a few hours, but the tour was a good way to get a brief overview.

There are cheaper tours that do the same thing. The historic part of the tour was nothing more than a tram ride. The guide had a very bad attitude. There was not enough time to go into the different places, so the alternative for us would be to visit the places of interest to us on our own. All the tour buses arrive at the same time, so every place we went, the ladies had to queue for toilets.
