All of these passes are great. It saves you money. We had a one day pass and managed to see just about everything we wanted to. Wish we had been in York one more day.
Would come back later in the year as there is so much to do and see and not enough time to fit it all in. Stayed for weeekend in the dairy guest house which was excellent and recommended, will walk the city wall and visit stately home on return visit in the summer. Beautiful, quaint city
We had a fab' 3 days in York and would definately recommend the 'York Pass' tickets. We visited all that we planned and more, without once having to pay for hidden extras, and we saved ourselves quite a few pounds. Thanks.
The York Pass was certainly value for money. We managed to visit quite a few of the places on the list but could of done with another day or two! We had a lovely few days in York and I'd certainly recommend it.
MOST of the tourist locations are included in the York Pass unlike the Great Brittish Heritage Pass which only had one location in York. Great buy and value.
York has something for everyone. If you are in a central location almost all the attractions are a short walk away. The York pass is an excellent way of getting into the sights without breaking the bank. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our short break there and will visit again.
Depending on what you plan on seeing in York, this pass could save you a lot of money! We saw the York Minster, Jorvik Viking Center and the York Castle Museum which were all included with the pass in just one day and still had time to do at least one more thing, so it was totally worth having this pass, it saved us money unlike the London pass, which is overpriced and not worth it unless you can see almost everything in London in 1 day! Plus we did the Haunted house and got buy 1 get 1 free tickets with the pass. Picked it up from the Visitor info center upon arrival at the train station the day before, and you're given a handy booklet with a city map and insights on places to visit and special offers at certain restaurants and shops, which was nice. York is a very walkable city, with lots of things to see and do. Highly recommended!
Our trip was first class. The York Pass is excellent value and we even used it in Whitby when we had a day at the coast.
Couple of days in york using the York Pass obtained through Viator. Really enjoyed it, very tiring as so many things to do and see. Certainly got our money's worth!
If you want to do all the big York sites - Minster, Dungeons, Jorvik, Castle Museum...this is the best option!! We worked out that without the York Pass we'd have paid double for enterance fees to attractions!! Also includes great discounts at lovely restaurants - Strada, Russels etc. AND!! Its well known in York so you dont feel silly showing the pass! Very simple to collect from Tourist Centre so dont pay for p&p. Enjoy!
We were able to do a whistlestop tour of York in a day, visiting all major sites and events. It was good value for money as discounted on the standard price. The only downfall was the need to buy ink for the printer to print out the email attachment.
